Pre-ordering has been around since the very early days of gaming. Back in the day, the whole point of pre-ordering a game was to ensure that fans would receive a copy on launch day, but as the gaming industry has continued to grow with every passing year, pre-ordering a game has taken on a bit of a different purpose. Nowadays, most fans will only drop the cash on a pre-order if it comes with some kind of bonus, and that's a tactic publishers have been using for well over a decade now, enticing fans to purchase their games months in advance by offering some kind of exclusive merchandise, or in the case of games like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, some digital in-game goodies.

After a lengthy delay, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is back and has a confirmed release date of February 2, 2024, which is just a little over two months away now. While many fans will understandably still be feeling pretty unsure about the game's content and its as-yet unseen live-service implementation and will therefore probably hold off from buying the game until reviews drop, some eager DC fans might have already seen enough to justify the $70 price tag, and for them, there are some intriguing pre-order bonuses on offer.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's Pre-Order Bonuses Breakdown

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's Standard Edition Pre-Order Bonuses

  • Classic Outfits
  • Rogue Outfits (PS5 Digital Pre-Order Only)

Pre-ordering the Standard Edition of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will give players immediate access to a selection of Classic Outfits for each playable member of Task Force X. Each of these costumes, as the name would imply, is based on the character's respective original comic book appearance.

Deadshot has his classic metallic look, while Captain Boomerang is in his bright blue outfit and matching Thunderbirds- like cap, and King Shark has his own shiny leotard on. Originating not in the comics but instead in Batman: The Animated Series, Harley Quinn's classic outfit here comes directly from the 90s show, giving her her now-iconic red, black, and white harlequin outfit.

Those pre-ordering Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League on PlayStation 5 will also gain access to a whole other set of unique outfits. Titled the Rogue Outfits, this set of costumes isn't quite as distinct as the Classic range, instead putting small spins on the characters' starting usual in-game designs. Harley gets a different hairstyle and jacket, King Shark gets a vest and necklace, Deadshot gets some dark metallic gray armor, and Boomerang gets turned into an Outback cowboy.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's Deluxe Edition Pre-Order Bonuses

  • Classic Outfits
  • Rogue Outfits (PS5 Digital Pre-Order Only)
  • 72-Hour Early Launch Access

For an extra $30, die-hard DC fans can upgrade their Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League pre-order to the Deluxe Edition, which grants them a bevy of bonus content, including some exclusive pre-order bonuses. The big, and only, exclusive with the Deluxe Edition pre-order is 72-hour early access to the game, meaning that fans who pre-order this more expensive version of the game can jump in on January 30, 2024, depending on their region.

The Deluxe Edition of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League also comes with a slew of in-game bonuses, including a new set of outfits for Task Force X inspired by the Justice League themselves, turning Harley into Wonder Woman, King Shark into Superman, Captain Boomerang into The Flash, and Deadshot into some kind of Red Hood/Batman mash-up. This edition also comes with some special in-game Black Mask weapons and a Battle Pass Token that's apparently useable in any of the game's first four Seasons, which has some interesting implications for Rocksteady's live-service plans.
