A new Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League leak suggests that another famous DC villain from Rockstar’s Batman: Arkham series could become playable post-launch: Killer Croc. The upcoming Suicide Squad game already features an intriguing roster of anti-heroes in the form of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark, all tasked with eliminating the brainwashed members of the Justice League at the behest of Amanda Waller.

While Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League isn’t set to launch until next February, Rocksteady is already letting select players try the game’s over-the-shoulder shooting and open-world traversal for themselves as part of a closed alpha test throughout the coming week. While this test is largely being conducted to assess the game's online infrastructure and check for any potential technical issues, it will still give participants a small taste of what will be in store for fans when Suicide Squad eventually hits stores - and even a few clues about the content Rockstar has planned for it after launch.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Pre-Order Bonuses Explained

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set to release in just a few months' time now, and for eager fans, there are a handful of pre-order bonuses.

Some of these clues were recently uncovered by mmmmmmmmiller, a dataminer known for his work in uncovering information about Marvel’s Avengers in the past. As reported by The Gamer, mmmmmmmmiller reportedly shared some leaked data about the first post-launch playable character coming to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League in a series of Twitter posts. The most prominent of them features a crocodile emoji alongside a series of icons representing the confirmed cast, indicating that this first DLC character could be none other than the monstrous Killer Croc.

As fans of Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham video games and the classic DC Comics they are based on already know, Killer Croc is a longtime enemy of The Dark Knight who suffers from a genetic condition that has causes him to resemble a humanoid crocodile. He has been a part of the Arkham series since the first game, in which players had to infiltrate his sewer lair in one of Arkham Asylum’s most intense segments. Croc last appeared in a side mission during Arkham Knight that saw him being experimented on by a corrupt prison warden.

Following his initial discovery of Killer Croc being a playable DLC character in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, mmmmmmmmiller has added that he has also uncovered data filed for two other, still unknown roster additions - and that he can’t be entirely certain that Croc will indeed be the next member of Task Force X. However, fans who remember battling against the ferocious Killer Croc throughout Rocksteady’s acclaimed Batman: Arkham trilogy will certainly be excited at the idea of unleashing his raw power on the mind-controlled heroes of Earth after Suicide Squad launches in February.
