55 video game publishers and developers have just been confirmed to appear at this year’s Summer Game Fest. Geoff Keighley first created Summer Game Fest as an online alternative to the once-annual E3 during the COVID-19 pandemic back in 2020, and the yearly gaming showcase has gone on to replace the latter as one of the biggest events of the summer for companies to show off their future projects. While Summer Games Fest hasn’t been without criticism or controversy, fans are still looking forward to this year’s presentation.

Back in March, Geoff Keighley confirmed that Summer Game Fest 2024 will be held on Friday, June 7 at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, the same venue as last year’s big showcase. The event will last for two hours starting at 2 PM Pacific Time (or 5 PM Eastern), and future viewers are currently speculating on what will be shown. The 2023 Summer Game Fest was jam-packed with exciting reveals for big-name sequels like Mortal Kombat 1 and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, as well as surprise indie hits like Palworld and Lies of P.

Now viewers have a better idea of what to expect at the upcoming Summer Game Fest 2024 livestream, as a list of 55 gaming companies that will be present has just been announced in a new press release. So far, the line-up of major publishers includes names like 2K, Capcom, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, PlayStation, SEGA, Ubisoft, WB Games, and Xbox. Some of the other companies featured are Devolver Digital, Razer, Niantic, Deep Silver, and Marvel Rivals studio NetEase Games.
