Super Mario Party Jamboree has an incredibly wholesome interaction between Bowser and Bowser Jr., highlighting their father and son relationship. Super Mario Jamboree is one of the most ambitious games in the long-running spin-off franchise, having not only many returning and brand-new boards, but also one of the largest playable character rosters in the series. Jamboree's 22 character roster has classic characters like Mario, Luigi, and Peach, to some more obscure picks like Ninji.

Both Bowser and Bowser Jr. Are playable in Super Mario Party Jamboree. In past games, Bowser, ever the archnemesis, torments Mario and company, usually being behind some of the game's events or causing problems for the players involved. As such, he's not usually a playable character in the Mario Party games. The exceptions to this are Mario Party 10, as part of an exclusive Bowser Party mode in the game, and Super Mario Party, which made him a full-on playable character alongside his son. Playable Bowser returns in Super Mario Party Jamboree, while an Imposter Bowser is responsible for some of the mayhem he usually imposes on other players.

Since Bowser is playable in Jamboree, he has special dialogue with his son, which is incredibly wholesome. One of these involves Bowser having Bowser Jr. As a Jamboree Buddy, a revamped version of the Ally mechanic from Super Mario Party. If a player gets to Bowser Jr. On the board, a Showdown mini-game is initiated in order to recruit them as an ally. However, if Bowser manages to reach Bowser first, Bowser Jr. Calls him dad, and then says he got him five coins.

Bowser Jr. Has Special Dialogue With Bowser in Super Mario Party Jamboree

Another wholesome interaction between father and son occurs after playing Bowser Jr.'s Showdown mini-game, Jr.'s Jauntlet. If Bowser wins, Jr. Cheers about how he's going to help his dad, promising he'll be a big help. A few characters have similar special interactions when getting them as Jamboree Buddies, such as Bowser Jr. Saying how his dad is his only role model if Mario wins against him and recruits him as a Jamboree Buddy.

Bowser's relationship with Bowser Jr. Is usually something that fans adore, and it has been put at the forefront of various Mario games and media. Despite being the main antagonist of the series, one thing that is mostly consistent is the father-son relationship between the two. Previous interactions include Bowser Jr. Asking for Mario's help in stopping his dad in Bowser's Fury, or Bowser being a good dad in the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls video.
