Although all rumors about the Switch 2 must be taken with a grain of salt, one fan drew inspiration from the rumored designs for their latest artwork. On the r/NintendoSwitch2 subreddit, a user named HertzBurst shared a concept render of what they thought the Switch 2's Pro Controller could look like. While HertzBurst used the original Switch Pro Controller as the basis of their design, the render made a few notable changes based on rumors surrounding the Switch 2's Joy-Con controller color scheme. Although the Switch 2 Pro Controller concept had a black body, the controller's grips and thumbsticks had blue and red patterns added to the left and right sides, respectively. The red and blue segments matched the rumored interior colors of the Switch 2's Joy-Con controllers.

The Switch 2's logo was prominently featured between the Plus and Minus buttons, and the controller input indicator lights were moved to the middle, compared to the top side of the controller. The D-Pad was also changed to look similar to the ones used on Xbox controllers. The Home button was moved above the controller indicator lights, and the rumored C button was moved to where the Home button was on the original Switch Pro Controller. For their work, HertzBurst was complimented by other r/NintendoSwitch2 Redditors.
HertzBurst said they also drew inspiration from Xbox controllers when designing their Switch 2 Pro Controller render. As rumors about the Switch 2's game lineup continue to circulate, it remains to be seen how accurate the speculation surrounding Nintendo's next system will be once the console is officially revealed.
