Summary

  • Nintendo confirms Super Mario Bros. Wonder Switch OLED bundle for Australia and New Zealand.
  • The bundle includes the game pre-installed and a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
  • More Switch bundles are rumored to be on the way this holiday shopping season.

Nintendo has confirmed that the Super Mario Bros. Wonder Switch OLED bundle is real, but it's only confirmed for Australia and New Zealand for now. Nintendo releases Switch bundles around this time every year in hopes of capitalizing on the holiday shopping season. Oftentimes, Nintendo's Switch bundles have featured Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as the pack-in game, but things are a little different this year.

It was recently leaked that Nintendo would be releasing a Super Mario Bros. Wonder Switch OLED bundle for $349.99. According to the leaked info, the Super Mario Bros. Wonder Switch OLED bundle would come with the game as well as a 12-month subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online service. Now Nintendo has officially pulled the curtain back on the bundle, confirming its existence.

The Super Mario Bros. Wonder Nintendo Switch OLED bundle is real and is coming to Australia and New Zealand on October 24. It's highly likely that the bundle will be released in other regions, but that has yet to be confirmed. The bundle does not include a physical copy of Super Mario Bros. Wonder or a digital download code. Instead, the critically-acclaimed Switch exclusive comes pre-installed on the Switch OLED consoles that make up the bundle.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder Switch OLED Bundle Contents

  • White Nintendo Switch OLED Console
  • Super Mario Bros. Wonder pre-installed
  • 12-month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online

As the leaks previously claimed, this Switch OLED bundle does not include a special version of the console. For some reason, Nintendo decided to go with a plain white Switch OLED for this bundle instead of the Mario Red Switch OLED that it released in 2023. Many were disappointed last year when they found out that the Mario Red Switch OLED would not come with Super Mario Bros. Wonder packed-in, and it seems that the console and game will remain separated this year.

In the meantime, reports indicate that there are even more Switch bundles for shoppers to consider this year. If the reports are to be believed, Nintendo has two Nintendo Switch Lite bundles on the way, plus a regular Switch bundle that includes Nintendo Switch Sports and a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription. An additional Switch OLED bundle is believed to be in the works as well, though its contents remain a mystery. Since the Super Mario Bros. Wonder Switch OLED bundle rumors proved to be true, it's easier to believe that the other Switch bundle leaks are accurate as well. Even so, it's best for fans to wait for an official announcement from Nintendo, as well as news on when they may be able to expect the Super Mario Bros. Wonder Switch OLED bundle to release in regions other than Australia and New Zealand.
