Brute forcing the RNG into the player's favor via rerolling an account is a tradition as old as any gacha game ever released, and Sword of Convallaria is no different. Obtaining a powerful character like Gloria, Dantalion, or even Beryl can set an account up for success.

Luckily, the developers haven't seen the need to discourage players from using this tactic. Cutscenes can either be skipped or sped up, and combat encounters in the introduction are straightforward, making rerolling a relatively fast process compared to most gacha games.

Sword of Convallaria: How Does Pity Work

Pity in Sword of Convalaria works differently from other gacha games in a few aspects. Here's the breakdown in detail.

How to Reroll in Sword of Convallaria (~10 Minutes)

Rerolling in Sword of Convallaria is only possible on mobile devices, as the game does not allow PC players to play with a Guest Login, which is an essential part of the process. PC players can use an Android emulator like BlueStacks to sidestep this requirement. Here is what they need to do.

  1. Install Sword of Convallaria on your Android device.
  2. Enter the game using a Guest Login (Important).
  3. Go through the campaign as quickly as possible until you reach the main hub (detailed instructions on this below).
  4. Click the mail icon and claim all rewards. This includes 21 Secret Fates (summoning currency).
  5. Enter the summoning screen and use all your summons on your preferred banner (Beginner, Debut, Destined, or Fateful Summon).
  6. If you succeed in pulling a Legendary character you're happy with, link the Guest account with your real login information by going to Settings > Safety Center > Bind Account to one of the four options.
  7. If you fail and need to reroll again, delete the account by going to Settings > User Account > Delete Account.

If players log in using a Google, Apple, or Steam account when rerolling, deleting this account can take anywhere from one day to a week.

Which Banner Should You Pull On When Rerolling

The Debut or the Destined Banner is the best place to use your summons when rerolling. Pulling on the Beginner banner is only worth it during a reroll if you're planning on spending additional time farming Hope Luxites from the campaign in order to reach 30 summons (which is when players are guaranteed to obtain an SSR). This will typically take an extra 10-15 minutes.

However, considering that the entire reroll process before this point should take around 10 minutes in total, this is rarely worth it. After all, not only are players not going to be able to influence which Legendary they get from the Beginner Banner, but it's going to double the time spent rerolling. Additionally, if a player manages to get a good Legendary from the other banners, they would still be able to get a guaranteed second Legendary within the next 30 pulls from the Beginner Banner afterward.

  2. Select the player avatar to trigger the prison cutscene.
  3. Click on the three dots at the bottom right corner of the screen and press the skip cutscene button to go through the sequence quickly. Use Rawiyah and MC to clear the encounter.
  4. Skip the next cutscene in the same manner until you're in the encounter with the rioters. Follow the in-game instructions.
  5. Repeatedly press the skip cutscene button whenever it becomes available to speed up the process.
  6. Enter the Fool's Journey main quest and clear the 0-1 stage. The cat will invite you back to Elysium, where you can use your summons.
