After escaping the island asylum with Caradoc’s help in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, players will find themselves shipwrecked on the beach of the Horns of the South. As they get their bearings and start exploration, one of the very first areas of interest they will stumble upon is the All-Mother’s Shrine, a dilapidated stone shrine.

Here, they will find two desperate peasants and a dead body with a letter on it. After taking care of the peasants, reading the note will reveal how to make an offering to the All-Mother’s Shrine to obtain an amulet as a reward.

How to Get Rose, Sage, and Feather for All-Mother’s Shrine Offering

The ritual detailed in the Letter to Aleous explains that in order to obtain the reward from the All-Mother’s Shrine—a powerful amulet—players will need to find a Rose, some Sage, and a Feather. Here’s how to get them.

How to Get Rose

Roses can be found in rose bushes. Here are four confirmed rose bush locations. All locations are also shown in the screenshots above.

  1. Behind the Red Priest merchant, in the Shadow of the Horns Keep.
  2. Right next to Abigor and the One-Handed Skill statue, growing underneath the stone arch.
  3. Northeast of Shadows of the Horns, west of the Ruined Market Square
  4. On the outerside of the Shadows of the Horns Keep, by the walls.

How to Get Sage

Sage can be often found in random containers like crates, sacks, and chests, but can also be found growing out in the wilderness in bunches. A telltale sign to identify Sage is a purple, feathery plume. You can find Sage growing at the following locations.

  1. Northwest of All-Mother’s Shrine, on the side of the road.
  2. Northeast of All-Mother’s Shrine.
  3. East of Shadows of the Horns Keep, near the rose bushes.

How to Get Feather

Feathers can be collected as loot from most dead bandits. Any hostile NPC who is wearing light armor will typically drop some Feathers when killed. Players can also buy Feathers from Osbryht, the Blacksmith at the Shadow of the Horns Keep for 16 gold.

All-Mother’s Shrine Reward

After gathering all three required materials, walk up to the All-Mother’s Shrine and press the interact key when the prompt shows up. You will immediately receive the All-Mother’s Mercy Amulet, which works like a consumable item that gives you an extra life. If you receive fatal damage while wearing the amulet, you will revive with full health but the Amulet will break. Do note, that only your health recovers; mana and stamina do not.
