Tales of Graces f Remastered has one of the most satisfying and accessible battle systems in the Tales series. The game features an Artes system that utilizes minor and major attacks with combo and magic. The Mystic Artes, the characters' most powerful attacks, only become available after significant progress in Tales of Graces f's story.

These Mystic Artes function similarly to the Limit Break system in Final Fantasy and can be combined with both minor and major Artes to create a powerful finishing combination. However, several boss characters that the party encounters also have Mystic Artes of their own, so timing and strategy are everything for Tales of Graces f Remastered players wondering how to use Mystic Artes in combat.

How To Unlock Mystic Artes In Tales Of Graces F Remastered

Tales of Graces f Asbel Stampede Strike Mystic Artes

The Mystic Artes abilities will become available for the main character, Asbel, in Chapter 3 after he visits Duke Dalen's mansion in Gralsyde. After the Duke and Prince Richard discuss their plans to retake the throne and defeat the usurper, his uncle Cedric, Asbel will gain the title Sword of the King. This title unlocks Absel's first Level 1 Mystic Arte, Stampede Strike.

Pascal and Richard will already have access to Level 1 Mystic Artes after going through the ruins.

More Mystic Artes can be unlocked by gaining new titles as Tales of Graces f's story continues. Look out for the Artes with Sword icons next to them.

How To Use Mystic Artes In Tales Of Graces F Remastered

Tales of Graces f Eleth Level to use Mystic Artes

The Mystic Artes only become available during combat and consist of three levels. Attacking during an Eleth Burst increases the level of the attack. If the characters have unlocked a level 3 Mystic Arte, they will initiate that attack. To use a Mystic Arte in battle, use the following steps:

Look out for the Eleth Gauge meter on the left side of the screen.
The Party's Eleth Gauge meter is blue, and the enemy's side is red.
When it reaches the top, the Eleth Gauge will burst.
Hold down the Mystic Arte button with the L1 button on the PlayStation, LB on the Xbox, L on the Switch, and the V button on the keyboard in the middle of a combo.
If you want your character to use a level 2 or level 4 Mystic Arte, hold down the Mystic Arte button until the Eleth number changes to 2 or 3.
