As gamers invest in each business, they may rank up, which will unlock more gameplay options. This guide will tell players what they need to know about ranking up in Tamagotchi Plaza so they can decide which area they'd like to focus on first.

How to Rank Up in Tamagotchi Plaza

If players open the map in Tamagotchi Plaza, they will notice that each location they interact with has its own evaluation. This is crucial to understanding how ranking up works in Tamagotchi Plaza. In Tamagotchi Plaza, evaluations range from 0 Smiles to 5 Smiles. When players haven't interacted with a shop, it'll be set to 0 Smiles. If they walk in complete a few tasks successfully, the evaluation score will increase.

Once gamers get to 5 Smiles, Prince Tamahiko will visit the shop and request a service. If gamers are able to provide a satisfactory service, Prince Tamahiko will give them the option to increase their status for a price.

For a shop to reach Metchi status (2 Stars) in Tamagotchi Plaza, it must increase its rank only once. A status upgrade costs 150 Gotchi, and the reason gamers have to decide whether they want it or not is that even though more features are unlocked when a shop reaches a higher status, it also makes tasks harder. Additionally, if they do not have enough Gotchi, they might prefer to focus on another business first.

What Should You Improve First in Tamagotchi Plaza?

Players can choose whichever section or shop of the square they'd like to focus on first. However, if they feel lost and are not sure where to go next, they can talk to Picochutchi.

Picochutchi can be found inside the player's house in Tamagotchi Plaza. Once they enter their homes, they will spot a desk where they can change the current Vice Chairperson, and on the opposite side of the room, they will notice Picochutchi, who provides advice on what players should do next to improve the town.
