The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has several enemies that players can battle, and Gleeoks are one of the toughest opponents to beat in the game, but a player has managed to successfully take one down in just ten seconds. Many of the enemies that gamers can encounter while playing Tears of the Kingdom were already in the game's predecessor, Breath of the Wild. In this new entry to the Zelda series, the world changed significantly after the Upheaval, making common enemies more threatening and adding even more powerful foes.

In Breath of the Wild, Lynels were the most difficult opponents that Link could face in the overworld. These creatures could run fast, they had varied attacks and combos, and they could deal and take a lot of damage. Lynels are still in Tears of the Kingdom as overworld bosses, but they're not the most challenging opponent on the battlefield anymore. Gamers now have to take down a handful of Gleeoks scattered throughout the map, and on top of being fast and heavy hitters, they're three-headed beasts that can lift off the ground.

CaperKnight, a member of the Tears of the Kingdom subreddit, shared a clip of them taking down a Gleeok in under ten seconds. In the video, Link uses several badly damaged weapons to quickly kill the Flame Gleeok that guards the Bridge of Hylia. This is definitely an impressive feat, and it could only ever be achieved under very specific and calculated circumstances.

In the comment section, players quickly dissected the strategy used to accomplish this difficult mission. CaperKnight used five Gibdo Bone-fused Claymores to take down the Gleeok, and while they dealt 178 base damage each, this number is greatly increased by several stat boosts. Link is wearing the Phantom Armor set, which increases the proficiency of bone weapons; he's also getting critical damage from throwing and breaking the weapon, as well as headshot damage. On top of this, Link has consumed a Level 3 Attack Boost item.

This video is a perfect example of the importance of stat boost effects in Tears of the Kingdom. With several stacked boosts, this player was able to successfully take down an 8,000 HP Flame Gleeok within five hits. The Tears of the Kingdom fusion ability has definitely opened many doors when it comes to finding clever ways to take down the toughest opponents in the game.
