Now that Tears of the Kingdom has been out for a while, players have made great use of the Ultrahand ability to create a variety of interesting vehicles, including a Batmobile, a floating boat, and an off-road buggy. Some members of the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom community also put together an instructional website to teach others how to build makeshift vehicles.
Many Zelda fans think Tears of the Kingdom is an improvement on 2017's Breath of the Wild in almost every way, including gameplay and creative mechanics. The game expands on the core gameplay by introducing Link to new abilities, such as Fuse, Ascend, and Autobuild. One such ability is Ultrahand, which significantly transforms the way players interact with the game's world. It's extensively used in building complex vehicles and upgrading them with Tears of the Kingdom's Zonai devices.
In a post submitted to the game's subreddit, a user named iatetoomuchcheeseits showed an impressive spider mech build that can be used for traversal purposes that was built using Tears of the Kingdom's Ultrahand ability. The player seems to have attached Korok blocks to Zonai wheels and combined them with the monster parts they received upon defeating the Marbled Gohma enemy. There is also a stabilizer that holds all the pieces up with no issues.
In the comments, many Zelda fans have expressed their admiration for the vehicle, with some suggesting the player turn it into a death machine with Zonai beam emitters. If players want to try out this build, they should kill Marbled Gohma and collect the monster parts to use as the abdomen. Tears of the Kingdom's Marbled Gohma is a boss players will encounter when they reach the end of the Fire Temple. Luckily, it's one of the weakest bosses and can be killed by destroying its legs and giant eye.
Since its launch in May, Tears of the Kingdom players have been pushing the limits of the game's construction mechanics to make versatile vehicles. As an example, one crafty player built a flying boat with Zonai rockets and balloons to travel in the air and cross the rough water. Aside from the fast travel option, vehicles are a method used to locomote through Tears of the Kingdom's beautiful locations, including the Sky Islands and the Depths.
