4 Raphael

Raphael is an aggressive character in most iterations of the I.P. From the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies to the cartoons. This aggression transmutes into great attack power in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate. The one downside is that his twin sais have a short reach. Even his Special will not extend the reach much, but it will execute a fine amount of damage into a single enemy. Both of Raphael’s Inspirations are aimed at critical hits.
One will boost the chance and attack damage of normal attacks while the other will just affect the chance of Specials getting a critical hit. It’s not bad as far as Inspirations go in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, but it isn’t good either. Besides having the second-best health in the game, Raphael’s true strength comes from his Tool called Turtle Line. Raphael will send out multiple sais which will grapple onto enemies and pull them toward him. It’s like Scorpion’s patented attack in the Mortal Kombat games except that Raphael doesn’t scream, “Get over here!”

Kids could think he was too serious and bossy and walked away or they fell in love with his leader status and his two katanas. Either way, Leonardo is a bit of the same characteristically in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate but he is a good character to play regardless of his attitude. His twin swords have a decent reach and attack power. One of Leonardo’s Inspirations gives him the ability to use his Special twice before players need to recharge it.

Overall, Leonardo has a good set of skills, but he has the lowest HP, making him fall behind others as the true leader of the pack.

Michelangelo comes across as a goofball in most works and that’s no different in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate with his laissez-faire attitude. He’s the type of character that would be best friends with everyone, but this party motif translates into high speed. Michelangelo may not have the toughest attacks, but he makes fast work with his nunchaku. One of Michelangelo’s Inspirations will grant him a chance to get Multi-Hit, which will double damage. His other Inspiration will boost area damage and basic damage.

Donatello is often one of the better characters to choose in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video games. His bo staff gives him a superior reach and that is true in this game although he is a bit slower. His special attack in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate spins him around in a circle, like Michelangelo’s, allowing players to deal with hordes easily. Hardened Shell is Donatello’s starting Tool and it damages enemies surrounding him although the damage is low. The better use of this Tool is to become invisible for a little less than two seconds.
Timing it right before a big boss attack would be a good idea. One of Donatello’s Inspirations will charge Tools 80% faster, meaning that players have more opportunities to block strong attacks using Hardened Shell. Along with Donatello’s high HP, he is the best Turtle for withstanding onslaughts. His other Turtle Power will heal 7 HP every time players enter a new room in the ever-growing dungeon system.
