Tekken 8 director Katsuhiro Harada addressed the backlash that the title has been seeing during the game's second season. Tekken 8 has been under fire since controversial changes were made at the start of Season 2. Now the development team has responded to the issues that players have and is aiming to fix them.

The controversy surrounding Tekken 8 began when players saw the adjustments that were being made to the game's throw system. SInce then, a number of other problems have come up, leading to the game receiving a massive amount of negative reviews on its Steam page.

On Twitter, Tekken 8 director Katsuhiro Harada spoke out about the negative opinions that gamers have had about the title since the second season began. Harada stated, "It is clear to me that the result is a disconnect between what the community wants and the tuning results... We have our Battle and Tuning team working around the clock to read through all the feedback logs from the community and work on future policies and changes for the better." While many gamers on Twitter were angry about the adjustments that were made for Season 2, Harada did receive some support from fans of Tekken 8, who told the director to keep his head up and that they still support the fighting game.

Tekken 8 Director Responds to the Game's Season 2 Backlash

It was announced by the team behind Tekken 8 that emergency patches were on the way for the game. Players can expect those to drop in mid to late April, with more adjustments possibly coming at a later time. On Twitter, Tekken 8 developers stated that they are reviewing the balance of the game and that changes to Paul and Jack-8 are being made. This will alter Paul's Hammer of the Gods and Jack-8's Jab Elbow, which do not work as intended. Hopefully modifications will be made soon for those who enjoy playing the title.

Season 2 of Tekken 8 began with the release of Anna Williams as a playable character and will include three other additions to the roster throughout the year. Two new stages will also be added during the new season, with one dropping in summer and the other becoming available in winter. New items are available in the game's store, and eight new ranks after "Destruction God" were added along with the latest round of the title's Fight Pass. It has also been announced that Tekken 8 and Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land will be having a crossover event. The occasion will add free DLC that includes new costumes, skills, and more to the fighter. While it is an unexpected crossover event, it could bring about a lot of fun things to Tekken 8 that fans of both games can enjoy.
