Tekken 8 has announced the upcoming return of vicious Muay Thai fighter Fahkumram, along with several other improvements that will be coming to the fighting game over the spring and summer months. Three different updates for Tekken 8 have been announced between now and the end of summer, bringing new costumes, stages, and Fight Pass rewards.
Season 2 has already brought Anna Williams back to Tekken 8. The younger sister of longtime Tekken series fighter Nina Williams made her highly requested return in late February with a brand-new look that polarized the game's community, and two more returns are planned before the season's end, in addition to the reveal of an entirely new fighter.
Tekken 8 Replaces Entire Balance Team Over Season 2 Backlash
Tekken 8's balancing woes may be over soon, as director Katsuhiro Harada announces a restructuring plan to make gameplay more even.
As revealed in a new trailer, the next character to make their return will be original Tekken 7 character Fahkumram. Making his initial debut as part of Tekken 7's Fated Retribution DLC, Fahkumram debuted at the Tekken World Tour 2019 tournament to the excitement of fans. Covered in tattoos and bulging muscles, this martial arts champion has a tragic backstory, forced to fight for a corrupt military organization that took his wife and daughter captive after he refused to throw one of his professional matches. Fahkumram's return is announced near the end of the new trailer, as he bursts forth from a sealed metal container, which is reminiscent of his original reveal, in which he emerged from a similar device lowered by a helicopter and unleashed pain on fellow fighter Craig Markduk.

Version 2.01 arrives on May 13, bringing with it the free Tekken Ghost Showdown mode in the game's fight Lounge, alongside two new packs available for sale in the game's shop. The 2.02 update follows on June 3, launching a collaboration with Karate Kid: Legends and bringing a variety of free and paid new costumes. But the 2.03 update looks like the biggest of them all, introducing a Pac-Man collaboration that will introduce the colorful Pac-Pixels stage and multiple other additions like new hit effects, wearable accessories, and more.
Along with all these changes, there will be more balance adjustments to the game's roster in each update. The game has received sharp criticism in recent months for its unbalanced gameplay starting with the launch of Season 2, and emergency patches to Tekken 8 have just been the start of efforts to get the gameplay feeling more even again.
