Tekken 8’s patch 1.06 has officially launched, and it has drawn quite some attention by introducing Lidia Sobieska to the playable roster, along with her signature map. The update has also rolled out a Photo Mode, which, by the way, is packed with exciting features ranging from different camera lenses to raindrop effects.

This will help you capture your favorite fighter in action at the highest quality. Here's everything you need to know to use the Photo Mode in Tekken 8.

How to Use Photo Mode in Tekken 8

Patch 1.06 of Tekken 8 has officially injected the Photo Mode into the offline content. It was originally teased in the Season 1 trailer, and now that the game has caught on, it has become a handy tool to render in-game snippets of the highest quality.

That said, the feature has some obvious caveats but is fairly straightforward to operate. Here’s a step-by-step guide to clicking a snapshot using the Photo Mode in Tekken 8:

  • Boot up an offline game mode. It could be Practice, Tekken Ball, or the classic versus CPU battle.
  • Pick your preferred fighters and select a stage that will serve as the background.
  • After entering the arena, mash some inputs and press the Pause button immediately to glue the character in a pose.
  • Within the small pop-up menu, scroll down and click on Photo Mode. Doing so will basically enable a free camera mode.
  • This also grants complete freedom to adjust angles and set viewpoints within the arena. So, utilize the system and position the camera properly to capture the perfect frame.
  • At the bottom, you will find the option to open the settings menu containing customizable effects and camera adjustments. Use them to jazz up the image.
  • Once everything is in place, go ahead and toggle the "Show/hide HUD & Control Guide." This will remove all the icons from the screen.
  • Finally, hit "Print Screen" or use a screenshot application to manually capture the image.

The glaring limitation of the Photo Mode is the lack of a virtual shutter button. Hence, you have to rely on some other screen capture method to actually save the image.

So far, Tekken 8 has listened to feedback and has even gone as far as bringing back a fan favorite character as a DLC fighter. Therefore, it wouldn’t be surprising at all if they added the Photo Mode's missing feature and extra parameters in the future updates.
