Teppen continues to introduce prominent Capcom characters in a real-time card battle environment. Starting today, Teppen players will test their card decks against hordes of dinosaurs in a brand-new collaboration event with Dino Crisis. A familiar from the Resident Evil franchise also makes an appearance to uncover secrets behind the Jurassic conspiracy.
The "Jurassic Rampage" expansion is live in Teppen, kicking off the three-part "Echoes of the Lost Civilization" series in the game. The government dispatches Regina from Dino Crisis and Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 4 to investigate a remote island, which is the site of a rift in space-time. The rift has unleashed dinosaurs from the prehistoric era, and an ancient power source is fueling the rift. Regina and Leon are not alone in their mission as multiple underground organizations fight for control of the dinosaur-plagued island. In addition, the two Capcom icons are joined by characters from the Street Fighter, Monster Hunter, and Mega Man series.
Those who log in before October 31 will earn 10 free pack tickets for the Jurassic Rampage event. Teppen also brings a new ability and arsenal of cards to help Regina and Leon survive the battle against the dinosaurs. The new Invasion ability allows players to move their Unit Cards to the EX Pocket. After 13 seconds, the Invasion ability's effects are activated and players may launch a timed assault against their opponent. A variety of new cards such as "Third Energy Genius Kirk," "Wolfpack," "Repelling Fire," and "Ancient Tyrant T. Rex" will appear.
Players can expect more content for the previous expansion, "Island of Fear." Starting September 22, a new quest map for Island of Fear will be added to Adventure Mode with exclusive Puzzle items and Relics. The quest song "Transcend" from Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be available from the Soul Shop for a limited time. The new Island of Fear quest map will be available until December 1.
As Teppen celebrates its third anniversary, Capcom reminds players about many of its iconic franchises through free rewards and events. Teppen brings a unique adventure with these iconic characters before Capcom releases major titles such as Exoprimal and the Resident Evil 4 remake in 2023. The appearance of Regina and Leon may build up more excitement leading into these new releases next year.
Players will receive free login rewards and bonuses in Teppen, so it's a great time to try out the free card battle game for the first time. Returning players have plenty of content to pursue as Capcom and GungHo work on Teppen updates leading into fall 2022.
Teppen is available now for Android and iOS.
