The manga is part of Weekly Young Jump, which is a seinen magazine. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You's sales numbers are respectable. It has sold more than 1.65 million copies, and this number will increase while the anime is still ongoing.

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You also has a light novel spin-off. Written by Hamubane, the light novel is titled The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You: Secret Love Story. It was released in Jump J-Books in July 2023.

The anime adaptation was announced back in March 2023. It was produced by Bibury Animation Studios, which had previously worked on Azur Lane and The Quintessential Quintuplets. The first season of the anime aired in October 2023, and it ran for 12 episodes. The second season was announced after the finale of the first one. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You's second season premiered on January 12, 2025.
