Tom Clancy's The Division 2: Battle For Brooklyn is the second major story DLC that features a new location, several new missions, and unique weapons for players. One of the exotics that's the main highlight of the expansion is the Catalyst Mask. The mask itself doesn't just come with interesting stats and talents that are great for DPS/Hybrid build-runners; it also has a unique cosmetic property that makes it a must-have for hardcore players.
Slight spoilers for the final mission of The Division 2 Battle For Brooklyn DLC.
The Division 2's Upcoming DLC is Stuck Between a Rock and a Hard Place
The Division 2 is set to get a brand-new DLC soon, and while new content is always exciting, it feels like it is coming at a very strange time.
How to Get the Exotic Catalyst Mask in The Division 2 Battle For Brooklyn DLC
Players can get the Exotic Catalyst mask towards the end of the expansion missions in The Division 2: Battle For Brooklyn. The final mission of the DLC is Army Terminal, where players finally confront the main boss of the expansion. Without spoiling anything, players will eventually make their way onto the roof of the building.
After eliminating waves of enemies and drones, they'll reach the final phase of the mission and go toe-to-toe with a Marauder quadcopter. After destroying the quadcopter, there's a chance for the Exotic Catalyst mask to drop.
The drop rate of the mask depends on the difficulty you choose. For the best chance at getting the mask, make sure to play on the Heroic difficulty as it has a 10% drop chance.
The Catalyst Exotic Mask Stats & Talents
The Catalyst mask is one of the best exotics added to The Division 2, which features multiple talents. Here's a quick breakdown of all of them.
- Chemical Agent: Dealing and receiving status effects adds up to 12 stacks. Each stack grants +2% weapon damage and +2% status effects. Players get +1 stack only if they apply a status effect to an enemy within 25 meters, and get +2 stacks if a status effect is applied to them.
- Reactant: When the Catalysis stacks are maxed out, killing a status-affected enemy grants +25% bonus armor and +20% weapon reload speed.
- Stabilizer: Players can still ads while being affected by the burn status effect.
In addition to the talents, the Catalyst mask offers weapon damage as a core attribute, with hazard protection and status effect being two secondary attributes.
