It's been a pretty big day for The Division 2. Along with a slew of other brand-new content and overhauls coming to the game, Ubisoft revealed when players will actually be able to get their hands on The Division 2's  Episode 3, which will take them to Coney Island, and it's sooner than players may have anticipated.

Starting tomorrow, The Division 2  players with a Year One pass will be able to journey to Coney Island, where they'll be able to play some all-new content that will likely tie into The Division 2's Warlords of New York  expansion, which will add plenty more content on top of what players will experience in Episode 3. Players without the Year One pass will be able to start Episode 3 content one week from tomorrow, on February 19th.

Episode 3 will include two new calssified assignments for Year One pass holders, the new "Firewall" class specialization seen in the Episode 3 trailer, and some new weapons. It's a decent amount of content, though it doesn't compare to what awaits players next month in the Warlords of New York expansion.

While the Episode 3 content is cool, it's nothing compared to what's on the horizon for the game. On top of the Warlords of New York expansion, The Division 2 is getting a season pass, which means more frequent content and regular rewards. While another season pass on top of what's already out there is likely disappointing to some, for dedicated players, it should bring much more meaningful rewards and content to the fold.

This is the perfect time for players new to The Division 2  jump into the game, as tons of new content is on the way. That new content should also bring back the existing player base, which should make it easier than ever to find new players to group up with when the episode and Warlords of New York expansion actually launch.

The Division 2  underperformed according to Ubisoft, but it's great to see the company continue to invest in the game's health. There's bound to be more on the horizon for the game, which should keep players entertained for quite some time. There still haven't been many details on the season pass's pricing structure, but, overall, the changes headed to The Division 2  seem like positives. Hopefully, the new content will be enough to bring back old players while reinvigorating the base with some brand new agents at the same time.

The Division 2  is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
