The Division 2 is finally transitioning to Seasons 2.0, but before that transition, the game is giving guaranteed drops of some of the best exotics as part of the Throwback event. This event intends to take back both new and veteran players through the previously released Legacy Manhunt missions.

Players will need to replay the Climax missions for the particular Manhunt Target in the ongoing project, complete the mission, and get the guaranteed exotic drop for that season listed in the project rewards. It's a great opportunity to claim any missing exotics in your collection right before Seasons 2.0 drops in Division 2.

How To Replay Manhunt Climax Missions for Division 2 Throwback Event?

The Division 2 Throwback Event Guide Legacy Manhunt Missions Screen

Simply fast-traveling to a mission that harbored a Manhunt target before and replaying it won't let players complete the Climax mission version of said mission. To properly start a Manhunt Climax mission, here's what players need to do:

  1. Open the Map in Division 2.
  2. Head over to the Manhunt tab.
  3. Toggle the Legacy Manhunt section in the Manhunt tab.
  4. Choose the Manhunt Target that's part of the ongoing project. At the time of writing, it's 'Jupiter.'
  5. After choosing the manhunt target, hold the accept button to fast-travel right outside the Manhunt specific mission.

This will let players directly play the Manhunt variation of Division 2 missions, which will grant them the guaranteed exotic drop according to the ongoing project.

The Division 2 Throwback Event Roadmap

In addition to the Manhunt Climax missions, the game will also be cycling through five back-to-back Global events during the Division 2 Throwback Event. This will let players get their hands on previous Seasonal Caches that also have a bonus 10% chance to drop an exotic. It feels like a proper farewell to the current seasonal formula for the game leading up to the revamped Seasons 2.0 update that's coming to the game soon.
