As reported by Push Square, The Exit 8 has suddenly received a launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This launch comes just a month after the official launch of The Exit 8 VR, which allows players to get up close and personal with the various anomalies that can be found within The Exit 8. As well as a VR version, a sequel was recently released on Steam called Platform 8, which follows the same premise as The Exit 8, with the key change being that Platform 8 appears to be set entirely within the train carriage itself. Currently, only The Exit 8 has been given a PlayStation release, but in the future, it will be unsurprising if Platform 8 follows in its wake.

The game is only available in Japanese and English, but if you understand the above description of the anomaly, you can probably play it all the way through.

Option: Graphics settings, mouse sensitivity, camera shake, and other settings can be configured from the options.

【Camera shake】
The camera shakes when you walk or run, but if you set the value to 0.0, the camera will not shake.

【Camera Acceleration】
If you set the maximum value to 30.0, the camera will move without delay.

【Camera Sensitivity】
If the sensitivity is high, the camera will move significantly when the mouse is moved. Adjust the value if you find it difficult to operate the camera with the default value of 1.

【Motion Blur】
Afterimages will appear when the camera is moved. Recommended to disable at 30FPS
