If players don’t like or get bored of their nickname in The Finals, there is a way for them to easily change it. Regardless of the platform, gamers will need to follow a series of steps to change their in-game name.
Changing a nickname requires players to create an Embark Studios account and alter it from there. For those struggling, this guide will cover all the nuances of changing one's nickname in The Finals while providing straightforward steps on how the process works.
How to Change Nickname in The Finals
To change one's nickname in The Finals, no matter what platform players are utilizing, fans need to follow the steps below:
- Gamers will have to go to the Embark Studios website, sign up, and select the platform they use to play The Finals. After that, they should enter all the data that the website asks for.
- When users log in to their own account, they will have to click the Account button, and a window will appear with the Display Name and Email options.
- To change one's nickname in The Finals, players need to click the Edit button next to Display Name and then enter their desired nickname, after which they should click Save. Gamers should keep in mind that even though the nickname can be changed once every 10 minutes, it is better to be careful and come up with one that will satisfy them right away to avoid repeating this entire procedure.
- After users have entered the name in the bar and clicked the Save button, a confirmation window will pop up. It will confirm the final version of the nickname that will replace the old one, so gamers can make sure that they have not missed a letter or made a mistake in spelling. In addition, this window will contain a warning, informing players that after they click the "I Understand - Continue" button, the nickname change will be instant.
If players are already registered on the Embark Studios network, they can log in to their profile, after which they should follow the last 2 steps listed above.
Once players have followed these instructions, they will be able to enjoy a new nickname in The Finals. And if players make a mistake or accidentally enter a nickname that they think isn’t a good in-game name, they can easily fix it.
