Setting up Reserve Loadout in The Finals

Firstly, players have to choose the specific weapons they want to keep in the reserve slot. This can be done by clicking on the contestant's tab on the main screen and then navigating through the edit option. Players will see two equipment slots at this point.

The main loadout is on the right where you’ll have all your primary weapons. The reserve is on the left and includes the backup items you can switch between in-game. Here, you can equip the weapons or gadgets you want to keep in reserve.

Using Reserve Weapons in The Finals

It's important to note that players can only use this option while waiting to respawn after dying. While you’re spectating, you’ll be able to see a button prompt that says Change Loadout in the bottom left of the screen.

Here are the steps players can take to use reserve weapons in The Finals.

  • While competing against opponents, wait until you’re eliminated.
  • On the spectating screen, a button prompt saying change loadout will appear on the bottom left of the screen. Assess this feature using the specific key based on the console you’re playing.
  • You will be able to see all your reserve weapons. Simply click on your current loadout weapon you want to change and then on the reserve weapon you want to use.
  • The weapon will be switched, and you’ll be able to use it once you have respawned.
