With a brand-new season set to kick off this week, developer Embark Studios has pulled back the curtain on The Finals Season 6 Battle Pass. While there are a plethora of new cosmetic items for The Finals players to get their hands on, many are eager to check out one skin in particular as it seemingly recreates an iconic meme from the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Season 6 of The Finals will begin on March 20, three months after the launch of Season 5. In the build-up to the new season's release, Embark Studios has been gradually revealing more about the massive content update via its website. As expected, there's plenty of great content to look forward to with Season 6, including new sponsors: OSPUZE, ALFA ACTA, and ENGIMO. Players will once again have the choice to pick between one of the three new sponsors for Season 6, each offering exclusive cosmetic items for players to represent during the season. Fans can also expect to find a full-scale transformation of the iconic Las Vegas map, new weapons, and a stacked Battle Pass.

New The Finals Skin References Iconic Olympic Meme

With just one day left to go until the launch of Season 6, Embark Studios has revealed the first trailer for The Finals' new Battle Pass, and fans have already noticed a highly requested skin is finally making its way to the game. Multiple Reddit users were quick to point out that one of the new skins (which can be seen in the image below) seemingly pays homage to the viral Olympic shooter Kim Ye-ji, who quickly rose to fame during the 2024 Paris Olympics for her calm demeanor and impeccable style as she rocked a pair of special shooting glasses. Ever since Ye-ji became an internet sensation, The Finals fans have repeatedly requested that Embark Studios release a skin in her honor, and it looks like those requests have been heard loud and clear.

The full Battle Pass has yet to be revealed, so it's unknown as to what class the highly anticipated skin will be for. However, given that the character is holding a revolver in the new trailer, one can assume that it will be for The Finals' Medium class. As for the rest of the Battle Pass, Embark Studios says it is inspired by the golden era of sports entertainment, with rewards that will help players climb from unknown contenders to legendary champions. In total, there will be 106 rewards and 1,575 Multibucks up for grabs for those who purchase the Premium Battle Pass, while the free Battle Pass will feature 26 rewards (including outfits) for players to unlock.

Alongside the reveal of the new Battle Pass, Embark Studios also recently showed off three new weapons coming to The Finals with Season 6. The ARN-220 is a zippy new assault rifle that will be available in the Light class, featuring lightning-fast reload times and a smooth recoil pattern. Then there's the CB-01 Repeater, a new hard-hitting lever-action rifle that will be exclusive to the Medium class. Finally, for those looking for some serious firepower, the M134 Minigun will be available in the Heavy class, with an insane fire rate and massive ammunition reserve. However, due to the weapon's sheer size, fans should expect a serious movement penalty when using it.
