The Soul Eater set is one of the first proper armor sets that players can get in the game. Every piece of this set drops from both Blade Phantom and Keshta the Unyielding. The latter is basically a simplified version of the former, so regardless of who you fight, the experience will be more or less the same.

One thing to note is that equipment levels have a cap on a per-mission basis, and since the mission with Keshta is a higher level than Blade Phantom's, you'll want to farm Keshta. Through him, you can get up to level 33 Soul Eater weapons and armor.

If you've already reached the Strange Stench mission, then you may want to consider farming for pieces of the Bard armor set first. This will greatly increase the odds of you getting higher-quality gear from drops, and it'll increase the amount of Lacrima you gain too.

Since boss drops are random, you'll need a ton of luck and patience if you want to get a full Soul Eater set from farming Keshta or Blade Phantom.

The First Berserker Khazan: Soul Eater Scroll Location

If you'd rather craft pieces of the Soul Eater set, you need to make your way to the Lacrima bonus mission, which unlocks right after you beat Trokka.

From the Outskirts of Aldevir Central District Blade Nexus, head down to the lower level and look for an opening on a wall on the left side. Keep exploring this way until you see a Failed Creation enemy. Defeat it (or just run past it) and pick up the scroll in front of a large statue behind some corpse piles.
