The First Descendant offers players a dynamic solo and co-op experience. Whether you are playing with friends or not, you will have to grind quite a bit to unlock new Descendants or gear. Luckily, the game has several unique items that will help you grind faster — namely, Boosters.

Boosters can increase resource acquisition by 30% on your account, along with providing this bonus for quite a long time. This can make a huge difference when working to unlock rare characters or gear, but acquiring Boosters in The First Descendant can be quite tricky.

Bonus Coins in The First Descendant are a special currency tied to the Battle Pass. Here's how to get and use them.

How To Get Boosters In The First Descendant

Boosters in The First Descendant

Each Booster in The First Descendant gives you a 30% bonus for obtaining a specific resource. This includes Gold, Kupier Shard, Descendant EXP, and Weapon Proficiency EXP. However, Boosters differ not only in this but also in their duration, which can vary from 1 to 30 days.

You can get Boosters in The First Descendant in the following ways:

  • Obtain via Premium Battle Pass
  • Purchase with Caliber (aka real money)
  • Receive as a reward via in-game mail

By purchasing the Premium Battle Pass, you get access to various rewards in The First Descendant, including Boosters.

You do not have to claim Boosters as soon as you unlock them in the Battle Pass.

The second method allows you to get as many Boosters as you want, but be prepared for the fact that it can be quite expensive. To save some Caliber, you can purchase bundles in The First Descendant, containing several Boosters at once.

Finally, the last method is suitable for F2P players. Some Prime Gaming and Twitch Drop rewards may contain Boosters. In addition, developers can send these valuable items to players via in-game mail as an apology for various crashes, bugs, etc. — but in this case, you should not delay claiming them since they do have an expiration date.

Using Boosters in The First Descendant couldn't be easier. As soon as you purchase or claim them, they are immediately activated. For this reason, Premium Battle Pass rewards give you more freedom than other methods.

Note that Boosters of the same type can stack (this only affects their duration, not their bonus). For example, if you simultaneously use two one-day Gold Boosters, then your 30% bonus will be active for two days, rather than a single day.
