The First Descendant features an amazing storyline and fun gameplay mechanics, allowing players to experience the third-person shooter in a refreshing way. The game follows the Descendants, who are humans with inhuman abilities that set them apart from others.

While playing the game, players will be sent on missions where they will find a ton of different materials, weapons, modules, etc. However, these items will take up space in their inventory, meaning there needs to be a lot of inventory space. Here's how to increase player inventory space.

How To Increase Inventory Space In The First Descendant

Unfortunately, there is only one way to increase inventory space in The First Descendant, and it isn't the easiest way. In order to increase inventory space, players will need to rank up their Mastery Rank. To do this, players will need to collect Mastery EXP around the game while completing different missions. Each time that the Mastery Rank is increased, the inventory space will also increase. To rank up, players will need to head to Albion, the major city in the game, and find the Prime Hands machine on the right side of the area. There, they can decide to rank up or see what is needed for the next rank up.

Tips For Inventory Management In The First Descendant

Just because players can't easily increase their inventory space, that doesn't mean they can't use some tips to maximize the space that they do have. Thankfully, there are some pretty easy steps to ensuring that an inventory doesn't get too overcrowded quickly. Here are the best ways to manage the inventory:

  • Sell unwanted items
    • Anytime players go to a location with a store NPC, they should sell anything that they do not want. This will allow them to constantly keep room in their inventory for new things.
  • Dismantle items
    • Dismantling items will not only allow players to empty their inventory, but they will also be able to obtain items from dismantling that can prove useful later on.
  • Dispose of unused Reactors
    • While Reactors are super useful in the game, they are usually the reason why players have no space in their inventory. The best course is to remove the ones that aren't as rare.
  • Use the storage box
    • The Storage Box is found throughout the game and works as a place to keep items for now. It has 78 spaces and can be expanded with Caliber.
