Based on the gameplay revealed over the past several months, The First Descendant appears to be a third-person looter shooter with a heavy focus on PvE combat and emphasizes co-op play. Players can take down alien bosses in a 4-player co-op and strategically complete various World Missions.
The First Descendant features different characters with unique skill sets and abilities that reflect their battle style, ensuring there's a Descendant for every player. The characters are fully customizable, with slots for three guns, four secondary accessories, and various sub-weapons.
Similar to popular titles like Destiny and Warframe, players will have to grind for powerful weapons and new equipment that can improve their Descendant and allow them to take on progressively more difficult challenges.
