The Game Awards Orchestra flutist Pedro Eustache aka "Flute Guy" took to his Twitter account publicly to thank new fans after he went viral during the orchestra's performance. Cameras cut to him multiple times during the act, playing a different instrument than he was before. Fans became enraptured by his enthusiasm and the variety of flutes he played during the orchestra's medley of songs from games nominated for Game of the Year.

The Game Awards' biggest draw is seeing new trailers for games and which games win. The awards show also manages to bring in some big celebrity names like Al Pacino, Daniel Craig, and Jessica Henwick, and musical performances from Hozier for the God of War: Ragnarok theme and Halsey for a Diablo 4 reveal. But sometimes, The Game Awards has the ability to produce one special moment or person that the community latches onto. That person became Flute Guy to the viewers, but he's a musician with an amazing resume.
