It should not come as a surprise that they are regarded as a symbol of strength and loved by the fans of the show. But as powerful and impressive as the Hashira are, they don’t have a chance of defeating these Solo Leveling characters.

Thomas Andre

Strongest Hunter From America

Thomas Andre is one of the strongest hunters alive. He fought in the great battle that transpired after the spawning of the first S-rank Gate. In fact, Andre played a pivotal role in defeating the dungeon boss, Kamish. Along with his four brave peers, he was then awarded the title of a National Level Hunter and has since established himself as one of the greatest hunters to have ever lived.

If Andre were to fight the Hashira, he would have overwhelmed them with his incredible strength. Even S-rank hunters possess power dangerous enough to cause city-level destruction. A National Level Hunter’s magical abilities are significantly greater and would have been more than enough to defeat any Hashira. Thomas’s unique skills, like Reinforcement, would have helped him bolster defenses while simultaneously unleashing a barrage of violent attacks using Capture, Power Smash, and Collapse. Had a Hashira survived even after this, they would have surely been put down for good after Andre’s Spiritual Body Manifestation.

Kamish

The First S-rank Dungeon Boss

Kamish is perhaps the strongest magic beast in the series. Capable of single-handedly killing about 100 S-rankers and pushing National Level hunters to their physical limits, the fearsome dungeon boss can strike fear in any rival.

Kamish’s incredible durability and strength would have posed a significant challenge for the Hashira. Even if they had somehow managed to bypass it, Dragon’s Breath would have threatened to incinerate them had they made even one wrong move. To make matters worse, Kamish’s Dragon's Fear was so powerful that it could send any combatant into a state of despair that would have rendered them incapable of battle. As skilled as the Hashira are, they stood no chance against such powers that could overwhelm a hundred hunters, each capable of destroying entire cities.

Frost Monarch

Sillad, a.k.a the Frost Monarch, is a conniving and ruthless villain who relishes pushing his adversaries through the worst pain imaginable. As one of the nine Monarchs, he is capable of unleashing frightening destruction at his whim and fancies. In a battle against the Hashira, Sillad would unleash hell on them. His unique powers, like Ice Blasts, Ice Breath, and Ice Magic, can freeze even the best Hashira to death.

The Frost Monarch can also create a Gate and turn the tide of the battle by shifting the battlefield to a more convenient location. He can also use Gate Creation as an escape when things don’t work out the way he wants. Using Spiritual Body Manifestation, Sillad can manifest his true spiritual form, which gives him access to a tremendous reserve of mana and power. These abilities give him a dangerous edge in a fight with even the top demon slayer to the point that it can be argued that the Frost Monarch can win the battle even before it starts.

Baran

Fighting Baran will be akin to going to a war, as the Monarch can summon a frightening demon army instantaneously. The Monarch of White Flames can use them strategically to outmaneuver enemies stronger than him. Baran himself is gifted with incredible powers that would put even the strongest demon slayer to shame.

In a direct confrontation, no Hashira will be able to survive Baran’s rage. Even without using the Hell’s army, Baran will finish the battle in a few moments using abilities like Lightning Breath and White Flames.

Ashborn

King of the Dead

Webtoon Debut: Chapter 128

Ashborn is one of the strongest beings in the Solo Leveling universe. Fighting someone of his stature will be a suicide for even the strongest Hashira. Even Yoriichi won’t stand a chance against the Monarch of Shadows, as he would annihilate any demon slayer even before they make a move.

Ashborn’s overwhelming powers would even allow him to defeat all the Hashira at once by simply lifting his finger. His Shadow Army will crush any adversary with frightening efficiency as soon as the King of the Dead orders them to. Against Ashborn, the Hashira can only run and hope that Ashborn or his army does not catch up.

Antares

Monarch of Destruction is just as frightening as Antares and perhaps even more brutal. He detests humanity and feels that it deserves to be eradicated. So, if a Hashira were to try to fight him, they would be in for a sadistic end as Antares would take his time killing them. However, Antares is so overpowered compared to any demon slayer that it would be tough for him to attack without killing them. He might not even consider the Hashira worthy of being his rivals.

Sung Jinwoo

Ashborn’s Successor

Jinwoo would not need his Shadow Army to defeat any member of the Hashira. With his intimidating combat abilities, he would easily push them on the back foot. Powers like Stealth, Mutilation, Bloodlust, Dragon’s Fear, Ruler’s Authority, and Dragon would be more than enough to take down even the best Hashira. Like Antares and Ashborn, his clash will also be one-sided, and it is even possible that Jinwoo would barely sustain any injuries.
