The Knight Witch is a game in the Metroidvania genre. Essentially, this means that the player unlocks more and more of the world as they explore. A player will take control of their character and engage in fast-paced combat with powerful card-based spells, in order to figure out who is behind the War Golem's invasion.

There are many spells in the game that a player will be able to use with their cards, which can usually be bought from shops or acquired by finding them during game play. However, some are bound to be better than others. It would do a player good to know which cards are considered to be the best.

5 Gaia's Shield – Blocking Bullets

Knight Witch - Tree

Gaia's Shield is integral for a player when it comes to defending themselves against the hordes of enemies that will be coming their way. Gaia's Shield is used for defensive reasons, and it is considered to be a great defense card.

Gaia's Shield will put up a barrier of rocks around the player's character. Though this may not seem like much at first, it will actually prove incredibly useful. That wall of rocks will block any and all bullets that are coming in a player's direction, which makes it great for protecting oneself against long range enemies. Many players agree everyone needs Gaia's Shield in their deck, because they never know when they will need it.

4 Magic Axe – A Quick Cut

Knight Witch - Blast

Magic Axe is an excellent card for a player to use against enemies in The Knight Witch. Throughout the game, many enemies will come at a player at once, so it will be good to have cards like Magic Axe that can deal high damage quickly. This quick card lets a player use a weapon to slice through a few nearby enemies after it is cast.

Though it is not the flashiest of cards, it is still great for a player who needs some quick damage on nearby. Magic Axe will be able to mow down a few nearby enemies in a snap, which makes it a great card when a player is in a jam. As such, a player should try to ensure that they keep Magic Axe in their deck (or at least try to buy it).

3 Electric Orbs – Setting Up for More

Knight Witch - Fighting

Electric Orbs is a fast-acting card that is great for wiping out enemies and catching them off guard. This card can be especially useful for setting up for bigger attacks, as Electric Orbs is a series of small, quick attacks that will chip away at the enemy's HP.

The quick attacks from the Electric Orbs will leave enemies open to bigger, more powerful attacks that will finish them off for good. This card works well for lowering enemy's HP and ensuring that a stronger follow up attack will be enough to take them out completely. As such, a player should work to acquire Electric Orbs as soon as possible, to maximize their full potential.

2 Flashbang – Stunning Enemies

Knight Witch - Skeleton

Flashbang may not seem like something that many players will initially want to use, but it is useful for similar reasons such as Electric Orbs. Flashbang is best used to open up any nearby enemies for attack, and set up for something more powerful.

When a player uses the Flashbang, they will realize how useful it is to be able to stun any nearby enemies. The Flashbang card will emit a rapid shockwave that keeps all enemies from moving or dealing damage for a few seconds. This will give the player more time to use something else more powerful, such as their Magic Axe card. Players with the Flashbang card in their deck will see just how much damage they can deal with their enemies in lock.

1 Flamethrower – Long Range Fire Power

Knight Witch - Surrounded

The Flamethrower is considered by many players to be one of the best weapon cards in Knight Witch when it comes to dealing damage early on, and it is not hard to see why. The Flamethrower is used for fast-paced high damage, which is great for a player to use in a pinch. When using this card, the player whips out an actual flamethrower and sprays a line of fire, which will burn nearby enemies that a player aims at and deals high damage.

Although not all players agree that the Flamethrower card is the best of the best in Knight Witch, it is still a respectable card that can get the job done well. As such, it is agreed that many players who need a weapon card in a pinch should not be afraid to use the Flamethrower.

The Knight Witch is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X and Series S.
