Anyone familiar with The Legend of Zelda also knows about the series' main antagonist, Ganon. Known by many other names, like Ganondorf, Great King of Evil, Demon King, Gerudo King of Thieves, and more, the one thing that has remained the same about this fearsome foe is that he's extremely powerful and the only two people in Hyrule that can defeat him are Link and Zelda.
Ganon is a powerful magic user and often comes to claim the Triforce of Power, making him just about immortal. Not only do Link and Zelda have to contend with Ganon's magic and the powers granted to him by the Triforce of Power, but he also has a number of strong weapons that he wields.
5 Sword Of The Six Sages
In Twilight Princess the Six Sages created a sword to execute Ganondorf at the Mirror Chamber. Despite being chained up, Ganondorf was able to break free of his bindings after the Sage of Water used the sword to strike him, ultimately failing as the Triforce of Power kept him alive. After killing one of the sages, the others banished Ganondorf to the Twilight Realm, with the sword falling into the Twilight Realm as well. Ganon uses this sword during the final battle with Link. It's a two-handed sword that shines with white holy light.
It's a fairly powerful sword as it can take Link down by several hearts with one blow if it isn't guarded against. The sword is officially called the Sword of the Six Sages in Breath of the Wild, as it's an item that can only be gotten from the Super Smash Bros, Series Ganondorf amiibo. Breath of the Wild is the only instance in which Link uses the Sword of the Six Sages. It has a base power of 48, and like other metal swords it will attract lightning during a thunderstorm, and it can be used with the Magnesis Rune.
4 Trident
Many would consider the Trident to be a signature weapon of Ganon's as he is seen wielding one in several different games in the series. He first uses it in A Link to the Past as his main weapon during the first stage of his boss battle. Phantom Ganon also uses the Trident in Ocarina of Time to throw energy balls at Link. In Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, there is a Password-Linking feature that will unlock exclusive content not found in the individual games.
The content from Linked games can be obtained after beating either Oracle of Ages or Oracle of Seasons and inputting a password into the other game. Ganon can be fought only in a Linked game, and he wields a trident as well in Four Swords Adventures, Ganon finds the Trident in the Pyramid across the Desert of Doubt, and believing it to grant him the power he desires, he uses the Trident during his final battle with Link where he can shoot lightning bolts from it or throw it creating a trail of blue fire.
When Ganon combines with Yuga in A Link Between Worlds he turns into Yuga Ganon and wields a weapon that combines Yuga's magical paintbrush staff and his Trident. The Trident has the same abilities as Yuga's staff, which lets him transform other things into paintings, and it is also used as a throwing weapon. Another use of the Trident can be seen in the non-canon Hyrule Warriors in Ganon's Fury Mode.
It's both a weapon and a class of Weapons that he uses. There are five variations of Trident that Ganon can wield in Hyrule Warriors, at Level One he wields the Theif's Trident which has the Lightning attribute. The strongest Trident variant is the Burning Trident which does both lightning and fire damage. Ganon has a special attack where he throws the Trident at a group of enemies in front of him and then charges a ball of lightning in his hands and throws it into the Trident, causing an explosion that does damage to enemies near him.
3 Phantom Ganon's Sword - Beast's Blade
In The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Link has to battle two different versions of Ganon. One is Phantom Ganon, who is different from the one in Ocarina of Time. He wields a dark spectral sword known as the Beast's Blade. Once Link defeats Phantom Ganon he can then use the Beast's Blade himself. Phantom Ganon and the Beast Blade appear again in Hyrule Warriors Legends.
This time he has two of them which he dual-wields. When Link and Zelda fight Ganon in the final boss battle of The Wind Waker, he wields two swords that look different from the Beast's Blade. They more resemble the Great Swords that he uses in other games in the series.
2 Great Swords
The Great Swords are another weapon of Ganon's that appears in the Hyrule Warriors series. Great Swords are Ganon's default weapon move set and have the Darkness Elemental Attribute.
At level one he wields The Swords of Despair, at level 2 he wields the Swords of Darkness and gains the power to manipulate dark lightning. At Level 3 he wields the Swords of Demise, which are based on the weapon of the Demon King Demise. With it, he can generate both dark energy and dark lightning.
1 Multiple Weapons As Calamity Ganon
In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the rendition of Ganon that Link and Zelda fight is Calamity Ganon. Link faces Calamity Ganon in the Astral Observatory in Hyrule Castle.
Ganon has lost all forms of humanity as he's turned into a multi-armed creature, and each hand in those arms wields a different type of weapon. The weapons he wields look like corrupted Guardian weapons and the most dangerous one is the large flaming sword.
