The remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for Switch is filled with items to collect and dungeons to explore. However, getting to Koholint Island's final dungeon, Turtle Rock, may leave some players scratching their heads, as the method to reach it is not entirely obvious. For those fans that are currently wondering how to get to Turtle Rock in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, this guide looks to provide assistance with exactly that.
How to Get to Turtle Rock in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
Players that are trying to get to The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening's Turtle Rock should begin by teleporting to the warp at Dampe's Shack, which is found near the top of the map. From there, players should navigate north to once again ascend the ladder up the mountain and enter the doorway blocked by three rocks. Players will then make their way through this short passageway to emerge in Tal Tal Mountain range.
Players should then head east past the waterfalls and to the furthest ladder, which they are to climb. They can then continue up and to the left to reach a chicken coop and then hookshot to the left to find Marin in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. This will then trigger a conversation between Marin and Tarin, and the Owl will appear shortly thereafter.
At this point, players should continue to the left to a conspicuously placed bush. While cutting down bushes is often a good way to find secret seashells in LoZ: LA, slashing this particular bush will reveal a staircase that players should descend. Fans should find their way through this cave and through the mountain path that they reach on the other side, being careful to avoid damage from the falling boulders.
At a certain point, players will jump down into an area with two enemies. There is a wall at the north of this area that can be bombed, and once players enter they will encounter a flame jet, which can be bypassed by using the Mirror Shield. Players will then exit the cave, proceed past a telephone booth, and reach the entrance to Turtle Rock in LoZ: LA. Now, players must simply slay the two flying enemies, play the Frog's Song of Soul in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, use bomb arrows and the sword to defeat the monster, and enter Turtle Rock.
Indeed, this remake is not without its challenges to overcome, and getting to Turtle Rock in Link's Awakening is just one such challenge. That said, players that follow the instruction outlined in this guide should have no trouble reaching the final dungeon and getting the perfect ending in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, assuming that they have played well throughout their journey.
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is out now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
