The Plucky Squire is an action adventure puzzle game developed by All Possible Futures and published by Devolver Digital. The Plucky Squire features a multimedia art style that mixes 2D characters with a 3D world to create a unique aesthetic fueled by an interesting story. Players follow Jot and his friends as they discover a three-dimensional world outside their storybook and must solve a variety of puzzles and mini-challenges. The Plucky Squire has been out for just over a month now, and is receiving another update for Switch gamers.

As shared on All Possible Future's Twitter page, update 1.4.0 is now out for players on Nintendo Switch. The update cleans up a lot of minor bugs throughout the various chapters within the game. Most notably, the box puzzle in Chapter 9 of The Plucky Squire received an adjustment that fixed boxes colliding with each other and getting stuck. Alongside that, a variety of general fixes were added to the game to adjust collisions with lightbulbs, text overlapping, and the way mini-game inputs were displayed.

Some additional updates for the game came to several chapters. Chapter 2 received some adjustments to portal collisions and character combining. The word puzzle in Chapter 4 of The Plucky Squire also received an update that fixed words getting stuck behind a frog, alongside issues with the bridge scaling up and some text being unreadable. Chapter 7 also got a few adjustments added that fixed some NPC behavior and an unintended puzzle solution.

Chapter 6 of The Plucky Squire received the biggest update out of all the chapters. Fixes were made that prevent the game from potentially crashing during a mini-game. Alongside this, several objects such as crates and words received updates to prevent them from reaching inaccessible locations. Finally, issues such as Zip not following Jot properly, players getting stuck in certain areas, and mini-game objectives not being shown have also been fixed.

These updates are currently live on the Nintendo Switch version of The Plucky Squire. While future patches and updates to the game on other platforms are not live yet, the developers stated that those changes are currently in the works.
