The Precinct: Hidden in the Hood Achievement/Trophy Guide

The Precinct puts you in the shoes of rookie officer Nick Cordell Jr. As he begins his journey with the ACPD. While you'll spend a lot of time patrolling the streets, chasing down suspects, and climbing the ranks, Averno City is packed with secrets for players who enjoy tracking down collectibles.

Among the most satisfying collectibles in the game are rare vehicles, each tucked away in a specific area of the map. However, the map is pretty dense, and pinning down the exact location of these cars can be difficult. That's where we come in! In this guide, we'll show you where to find all the rare vehicles in The Precinct.

All Rare Vehicle Locations in The Precinct

There are 10 rare vehicles hidden throughout Averno City in The Precinct. Here's how you can find each one:

You'll need to unlock the Commandeer upgrade before you can drive the rare vehicles in the game.

Midnight Inferno

The first rare vehicle in the game is located in Brookhaven near the subway station. There's a big parking lot right next to the station. Head to the northern part of the lot and vault over the fence. You should see the vehicle tucked under some sheet metal.

The Patriot

This is another rare vehicle that you can find early on since it's close to the police station. Head south from the police station and take the first left. You'll find the car under some sheet metal near a brown building.

FrostFire

For this car, head to the Ramona South district. Travel to the location marked on the image above, and you'll find this red and white car under another set of sheet metal.

The Fugitive

Head to the center of Richbury South and travel to the location marked in the image above. You'll find this orange car near a dumpster.

Emerald Strike

This vehicle is located on the South Shore. Head to the northernmost point of the area, and you'll find the car hiding under some sheet metal at the back of a gray building.

Extra Woodie

Head to Carver Port, located in North Averno, and travel to its northern dock. Enter the dock and immediately turn right to find this classic vehicle.

Cobalt Stallion

Head to Shermer Court in North Averno, where you'll find a small yellow-colored salvage parts shop. The rare vehicle can be found just behind the shop.

Red 77

This vehicle is located between Westview Bay and the Ocean Strip. Head north from Westview Bay and you'll eventually notice some big signboards on your left. Climb the fence to the other side, and you'll find the rare vehicle between some cargo containers and a white-blue building.

Gran Detroit Turbo

Head to Little Italy in North Averno and drive around until you spot a coffee shop named Dutchies. Go around the building and move through the alley to find the rare vehicle just ahead.

Stampede

The final rare vehicle in The Precinct is located in the center of Sunnyside. Head for the subway station and enter the parking lot. You'll spot this car on your left under more sheet metal.

Finding and driving all 10 rare vehicles in The Precinct unlocks the Hidden in the Hood achievement/trophy.

Unfortunately, you can't keep rare vehicles in your collection permanently. Once your shift ends, you'll revert to the standard patrol car you started with. However, the rare cars do respawn in the same locations, so you can return to them at the start of any shift and drive them around again to add some style to your day while working long shifts in The Precinct.
