The Sims 4 Summer Sale has come and gone, and while there was a treasure trove of great deals to revel in, the event felt like it was over before it even began. Each year, Sims 4 players can look forward to major sales, and the Summer Sale is consistently packed with some great bargains. The sale ended on July 10, and while some fans may have missed the window to snag some great discounts, there is still the promise of more deals later this year.
This year's Summer Sale offered substantial price cuts on a long list of expansion packs, with some content even being marked down to 60% off. The Summer Sale is one of the biggest yearly deal events for Sims 4 players to look forward to, but the latter half of the year may have even better news in store for fans.

Gearing Up for the Halloween Season
Over the years, The Sims 4 has added a variety of Halloween-themed expansions. Between last year's Life and Death expansion and hits like Spooky Stuff and Werewolves, The Sims 4 offers a lot of fun ways for players to get in the Halloween spirit. As the scare-filled holiday draws closer, it wouldn't be a surprise for EA to announce another sale.
Last year, there was a sale on more than just Halloween-inspired expansions, too. For Rent and Home Chef Hustle were among some of the additional content that saw a major price cut leading up to the holiday. So, for players who aren't particularly interested in Halloween or spooky content, this period of the fall season is likely to still have plenty of other options beyond the holiday-themed DLCs.
One of the best features in The Sims 4's Life and Death expansion is that this DLC finally allows players to romance and even have a baby with the Grim Reaper.
Black Friday
Over the years, Black Friday has been stretched out to days-long sales instead of one-off events that cause people to get into fights over smart TVs, but that doesn't mean there aren't any deals worth getting hyped up for. Last year, EA's Sims 4 Black Friday sale featured a long list of expansions that offered players plenty of great discounts. The 2024 sale ran from November 20 to December 4, and while that's still plenty of time to jump on bargains, it still creates that sense of urgency that Black Friday is known for. With each new expansion that The Sims 4 gets, there are hopes that they will be included in seasonal sales, and since the Black Friday sale is one of the game's biggest, players will want to keep an eye out for an announcement later in the year.
This year, Black Friday falls on November 28, but the sale is likely to kick off several days beforehand, like last year.
The world of The Sims 4 can quickly be enhanced with expansions, which makes these sales so important for the game's community. The beloved life sim is over a decade old now, and with so many expansions to choose from, it can be really difficult to afford them all at full price.
Of course, EA has yet to announce when the next sale will be, but for those eager for more deals, the Halloween season and Black Friday are bound to be the most likely periods. Even after a decade, The Sims 4 isn't slowing down on its post-launch content, and as the year continues, it wouldn't be surprising if the fall and early winter introduced more great deals.
