How to Have a Family Reunion in The Sims 4
A Family Reunion is like any other social event in The Sims 4 and can be planned through a phone or the calendar. To have one, enter the Social Tab from a Sim's phone and choose "Plan a social event..." Then, scroll down and find the Family Reunion option. It will cost Sims $200 Simoleons to have the event.
The first step will be to select a host from the list of available Sims. Players will then be able to choose their location and build their invite list from Sims with which they have some level of relationship. Family Reunions are not limited to family or household members, and friends can be invited too. There must be a minimum of four guests and a maximum of fifteen.
The event can occur at a residential, commercial, or rental lot. Players will want to ensure they have someplace with a fridge and cooking source to complete all the event objectives.
Family Reunion Event Awards
The Family Reunion can be a goaled event, meaning it will have specific tasks or objectives that Sims must complete for rewards. The main goal of a Family Reunion is to take lots of photos within the allotted time frame. Sims are also prompted to eat together, discuss family, and be thankful.
Taking photos in The Sims 4 can be challenging when getting Sims to cooperate. Therefore, players should start with this goal to complete it on time. To take a photo, click on a Sim's phone and find the camera app or purchase a camera in Buy mode. Both methods allow players to take a general photo, a photo of a specific Sim, or a photo with a Sim. All three will meet the objective requirements.
Once they have all the photos, players can share them online or frame them in their homes. The rest of the event time can be used to finish the other objectives.
