Teen Sims have many more activities and opportunities in The Sims 4: High School Years. Players can go to high school with their teens and attend classes, meet teachers and students, attend prom, or join after-school activities. One activity is joining the Copperdale High Football Team.
Football practice is a rabbit hole in The Sims 4: High School Years, but Sims can get moodlets, rewards, and even a trait if they move up in the ranks on the team. They also receive a new gameplay object for football practice and training for the Football Team Sports Day event. So, here's how to become a member of the Football Team and all its perks.
How To Join the Football Team
Sims can join the Football Team from the Career panel on their cellphones or with a computer. The only prerequisite is that they must be enrolled in high school, so early graduates and high school dropouts cannot participate in Football. Choose "Football Team Member" from the job options to join. The teen Sim will get a complimentary Football added to their inventory and automatically go to the next scheduled practice.
Football Team meetings go from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Players will need another Sim to toss the ball to practice Football at home or outside of practice. Sims can also attend the Football Team Sports Day event on Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The event is not restricted to Football players, and anyone can participate.
The Football Team Sports Day includes a vendor, photo backdrops, several footballs, and a cheer mat. Sims can use the photo backdrop to pose for pictures or deface the rival competitor's backdrops with graffiti. In addition, they can join a football toss competition by practicing Football with another Sim. They will receive a score that must be submitted to the competition judge, and the winners will be announced at the end of the event.
