Among the Romance Style in the Turn-Ons and Turn-Offs category, you can choose Gift Giving as one of your love languages. This way, when the Sim engages in this activity, they gain Romantic Satisfaction points. The same can be applied to other characters gifting the Sim.

How To Purchase Romantic Gifts In The Sims 4

Usually, players can use their computer or phone to purchase gifts. Thanks to the Lovestruck Expansion Pack, a couple of small gift shops can be found in the neighborhoods of the Ciudad Enamorada World. For specific locations, the first gift shop is in Nuevo Corazon, right next to the Sudor Gym, across the lake statue. The second one is in Plaza Mariposa, next to the Media Naranja Park.

Interacting with the gift shop gives three options, allowing Simmers to buy a variety of items:

  • Buy Gifts: The gifts vary from jewelry in The Sims 4 to Sweetheart’s Boxes.
  • Buy a Bouquet of Flowers: Many flower arrangements can be bought from the gift shop.
  • Buy a Flower: Buy a specific type of flower.

Once players have made sure that their significant other likes Gift Giving as a Romance Style, they can try giving gifts to earn some Romance Satisfaction Points. To do that, buy some gifts and keep them in the Inventory. Next, speak with the desired Sim and select the Give Romantic Gifts option under the Affection section to offer anything from the Inventory.

Simmers can also choose the Give Flowers option under the same section and one of the bouquets or a single flower. Alternatively, the bouquet of flowers can also be used as decorations. As for the Sweetheart’s Boxes, you can offer it as a Romantic gift or select it from the Inventory and choose to share it. This will create a special moment between the couple where they feed each other from the Sweetheart’s Box.

Successfully offering gifts to a Sim with a Turn-On for Gift Giving will decently increase the Romance Satisfaction points, which help the relationship last longer and strengthen the romance.
