While the traditional painting skill requires players to buy canvases to create masterpieces, Microscope Prints tasks players with turning scientific samples into abstract masterpieces.

The goal is to collect 12 Microscope Prints to decorate your home with. Each of the prints features various samples Sims have collected, including fossils, plants, and crystals. The prints allow Sim scientists to commemorate their greatest collections while giving their homes a scientific makeover. They can also sell the prints to earn extra money and become successful.

To collect all Microscope Prints, players must first purchase a microscope from The Sims 4's Buy Mode. This costs $1,630, which is expensive but worthwhile if you sell your prints after creating them. Sims who work as scientists can forgo buying the microscope by using the one available at work. However, traveling back and forth from work to use the microscope makes the entire print-collecting process more time-consuming. It’s easy to collect and analyze prints from home, which is why we recommend purchasing one.

Once you have the microscope, set it on Focused to gain the Logic Skill quickly. This will allow you to analyze samples and create prints. Note that players must reach certain levels to analyze and produce different samples. For instance, you must be at Level 2 to analyze plant samples, Level 5 to analyze fossil samples, and Level 8 to analyze crystal samples.

There’s a total of 12 Microscope Prints to collect, and they include:

  1. Leaf Meat
  2. Psychedelic Rock
  3. Party In Pink
  4. Hooplankton
  5. The Drifter
  6. Blemish Blossom
  7. Trace Remains
  8. Crystal Palace
  9. Falling
  10. Snow Fight

  12. Cell Block

After gaining the Logic Skill, start by collecting samples from nearby objects in your home.
