There are several trees, bush, and flowers for gardener Sims to plant in their gardens in The Sims 4. While some are easy to obtain, as their seeds are available in packets, which Sims can order without much effort, others require a few additional steps, such as grafting.
The Sims 4: How To Graft Plants
Growing rare plants in The Sims 4 requires players to unlock the grafting skill, but figuring out how to graft plants can be a little confusing.
The Death Flower is one of the most sought after plants in The Sims 4, and in order to obtain it, gamers won't have to graft one plant but three. This guide will explain the process that gamers must go through in order to get themselves Death Flowers and a Death Flower plant in The Sims 4.
How to Get a Death Flower in The Sims 4
The Death Flower is a must if players want to beg the Grim Reaper for a dying Sim's life or if they want to make Ambrosia to bring a ghost Sim back to life. This all sounds great, but the Death Flower is by no means easy to obtain through conventional methods. To get a Death Flower in The Sims 4, players will have to first get a Pomegranate tree and an Orchid plant.
- To get a Pomegranate tree in The Sims 4, players must graft a Cherry tree with an Apple tree. It has the chance to produce Pomegranates, which can be planted by themselves and originate a Pomegranate tree.
- To get an Orchid plant in The Sims 4, players must graft a Snapdragon plant with a Lily plant. It will eventually produce Orchids, which must then be planted by themselves so they can produce an Orchid plant.
Lastly, players must graft an Orchid plant shoot with a Pomegranate tree or vice-versa; the spliced plant will have the chance to produce Death Flowers.
How to Get a Death Flower Plant in The Sims 4
Once the spliced Pomegranate-Orchid plant has produced a Death Flower or more, players must put in soil and plant it. This will mature into a Death Flower plant, which will continue to exclusively produce Death Flowers, giving players an endless supply of valuable flora.
All of the plants in this guide grow in different seasons, so gamers might want to create a greenhouse so they can be sheltered and continue to mature at all times.
