How to Increase CAS Columns in The Sims 4
Undoubtedly, all the customization options make the game more fun. However, the mode has only two columns, so you will find yourself scrolling a lot to find what you want. More columns mean less scrolling, and you’ll have a better view of all the available options. In The Sims 4, you can't get more columns without using a Mod. With a mod, players can have three, four, or even five columns.
Install a Mod
Firstly, players will have to install a mod. There are many options when it comes to mods, and all of them are easily available on the internet. One reliable mod is More Columns in CAS v1.30 by Weerbesu. To download this mod on your PC, visit the website linked above, scroll down to the page’s bottom, and choose the version you want. As mentioned above, you can have three, four, or five columns.
Once downloaded, paste it into the Mods folder in The Sims 4 folder on your computer. For that, open the Downloads folder, then open the Mods folder in the Documents folder, and drag and drop the file into the Mods folder. Launch the game, go to settings, Game Options, and enable the custom content and mods option. After that, you will need to restart the game.
The mod will be active when the game restarts. To see the changes, you can enter the CAS mode by opening the cheat console and then typing ‘cas.fulleditmode.’ Here, you will now see more columns, and you will be able to easily choose from a variety of shoes, shirts, trousers, accessories, and other options. After customizing your Sim, you can click on the check mark icon to save changes.
