Resizing Objects on a PlayStation
The process of adjusting the size of objects can be a bit tricky for Console players. Here’s how they can do so:
Select the object and hold the L2+R2 keys simultaneously. While holding those keys, press up on the D-pad. After increasing the size, release the buttons and place the object. While holding the L2+R2 keys simultaneously, press down on the D-bad and decrease the size of the object.
Increase and Decrease the Size on Xbox One
Select the item and hold the LT+RT keys simultaneously. Now, if players press up on the D-pad, they can increase the size of the item. On the other hand, pressing down the D-pad will shrink the object. Having said that, it is important to point out that the size of the object cannot go smaller than its original size in the game.
Resizing Objects on a PC
PC users have always been more comfortable with controls than the console as PC is the main platform of The Sims series. To resize an object, open the game on the lot and navigate to the Build Mode. The next step is to select the required object and move it somewhere in the lot.
Bring the gradual increase in the size of the object by pressing Shift + ]. Now release the key and place the object carefully. Just like that, in order to reduce the size of the object, players need to press Shift + [. That's it.
