How to Send a Toddler Sim to Daycare in The Sims 4
Simmers can send their toddler Sims to daycare by following these straightforward steps:
- Before players can send a toddler Sim to daycare, they will need to ensure that they have a toddler as a part of their household. Those who don't have a toddler can add one by going to the CAS mode.
- For that, type ‘cas.fulleditmode’ in the cheat console and choose ‘Modify in CAS.’
- In the CAS mode, players will see the ‘Add a Sim’ option in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
- Click this icon, choose the Sim’s name and traits, and make sure to reduce their age.
After Simmers have successfully added a toddler to their household, they can access the smartphone and choose the ‘Hire a Service’ option. Then, select ‘NPC’ and pick the ‘Daycare’ option. Here, players will see the list of daycare providers.
After choosing a provider, confirm the decision. Players also have the option of choosing a time duration of the stay, ranging from one to 12 hours. Once done, the daycare provider will arrive to collect the toddler. Make sure to feed the toddler before sending them to daycare. A hungry or uncomfortable toddler can be hard to deal with and may not have an enjoyable experience at daycare.
Apart from the daycare, players can also hire a nanny to take care of the toddler when needed. This can be done by opening the smartphone, going to the ‘Hire a Service’ option, and selecting ‘Hire a Nanny.’
