The Sims 4: Snowy Escape introduces Lifestyles for Sims that affect their moods, influence their behavior, and grant them benefits. Sims with Lifestyles are likelier to follow certain routines or develop specific tastes that change how they view relationships, activities, careers, and hobbies.
Lifestyles are hard to ignore as they affect Sims daily in almost everything they do. Not following a Lifestyle or doing things that contradict it can leave Sims with negative emotions. Earning Lifestyles happens organically and deepens Sims' personality. So, this guide covers everything about Lifestyles, including what they are, how to get one, and how to clear them from a Sim in The Sims 4: Snowy Escape.
What Are Lifestyles
Lifestyles appear whenever a Sim has a repeated experience or action that they enjoy. They include eating habits, work ethic, daily routines, relationship types, etc. A Sim takes little to earn a Lifestyle; even doing a particular action once a day can cause them to develop one quickly.
When Sims do things that align with their Lifestyle, they will gain positive moodlets and boost their emotions. On the other hand, doing actions that conflict will result in a negative mood which can affect social interactions, skill building, and work performance.
Lifestyle Points
Lifestyles are tracked with Lifestyle Points that are earned daily by completing aligned tasks. Each time a Sim does an action that counts toward it, they will earn points. For example, 100 Lifestyle Points means they will get a related Lifestyle, but Sims can only earn twenty points daily. So, they will only be able to earn a Lifestyle if they have done an action at least once a day for five days.
How to Clear Lifestyles
If players no longer want their Sims to have a certain Lifestyle, they have a few options for getting rid of them. Not doing tasks that align with their Lifestyle will make it fade away slowly, but this usually results in many negative moodlets. However, they can regain the Lifestyle if they start participating in it again. Sims can also sign up and attend a Lifestyle Coaching class for 200 Simoleons through their phone to remove one active Lifestyle.
Another way is to visit the Aspiration Rewards Store and purchase a Lifestyle-Go-Poof Potion for 300 Satisfaction Points, or players can use a cheat to clear all Lifestyles.
