The Talos Principle 2's DLC, Road to Elysium, features eight unique puzzles in the Abyss area. These puzzles are essential for advancing the storyline. Additionally, this chapter includes extra puzzles for players keen on uncovering more secrets.
As such, this walkthrough provides step-by-step solutions to all eight main puzzles of Chapter 3 (Into the Abyss), complemented by visual clues to aid you in quickly unraveling the mysteries.
Drill a hole in the wall next to the Red Receiver.
Connect the Inverter to the Blue Generator on the other side of the hole and link it to the two Red Receivers on your side.
Retrieve the Connector and link it to the Inverter and Blue Generator.
Poke a hole in the other breakable wall (the one to the right of the Red Receiver). Make sure you place the Driller behind the panel and aim it at the wall through the gaps in between.
Use the Inverter to create a new link through the hole. You should connect the Inverter to the Red Receiver in the back - behind the one blocking the final gate.
Link the Connector to the Inverter, Blue Receiver, Blue Generator, and Red Receiver that are blocking the path to the final gate.
Get behind the panel and aim the Driller back at the wall behind the Connector so its laser can reach the Blue Generator.
The Other (Puzzle #2)
Connect the first Inverter to the Blue Generator in the back, both Red Receivers, and the leftmost Blue Receiver.
Link the other Inverter to the first Inverter, the leftmost Red Receiver, and the other Blue Receiver with no connections.
Go to the other room and take the Connector.
Link the Connector to the Blue Generator through the gap in the wall.
Take the first Inverter and change its connections to the following: both Red Receivers, the leftmost Blue Receiver, the second Inverter, and the Connector.
Finally, get into the other room and link the Connector from the Blue Generator to the second Inverter.
Oscillation (Puzzle #3)
The first Connector must be connected to the Red Generator, the Blue Generator, and the Blue Receiver. Place this one on the other side of the moving fences in the middle of the room.
Connect the second Connector to the Red Generator and the Red Receiver. (Place this one near the Blue Generator.)
Wait for the moving fence to change the lasers’ colors and unlock the gates.
Alternation (Puzzle #4)
Take one of the Connectors and link it from the Red Generator in the back to the Red Receiver and the Blue Generator on the other side. (Place this Connector in front of the gap on the left.)
Link the second Connector to the first Connector, as well as the two Blue Receivers on the right, the Red Receiver on the right, and the Blue Generator in the back. (Place this Connector in front of the gap on the right.)
Wait for the lasers to change color and unlock the two gates blocking the Progress Wheel.
Tritogeneia (Puzzle #5)
Take one of the Connectors and link it to the Green Generator in the middle. (Place the Connector in front of the Generator.)
Get the other Connector and link it to everything except for the Green Generator. (The second Connector must be linked to the Red, Green, and Blue Receivers and the Blue and Red Generators.)
Place the second Connector in front of the Green Generator between the two gates.
Take the second Connector and place it over the Pressure Plate after connecting it to the Red Generator.
Move your Clone away and replace it with the first Connector. (The Connector must be linked to the Receiver in the back from the other Connector you linked with the Red Generator.)
Now that the Clone is free, bring it back to the main room and have it stand near the Fan.
Using your main body, fly to the other end of the room.
Teleport to your Clone’s body, detach the Fan, and replace it with the nearby Connector (the one that’s currently linked to the Generator).
Connect the released Connector to the Red Generator and jump on the Fan’s platform. From here, you can see another Red Receiver past your body at the top. Link the Connector to this Receiver and place it on the Fan’s platform.
Using your Clone, hold the fan and step on the fallen stone just behind the Pressure Plate. Your goal is to give the Fan to your main body.
Once you retrieve the Fan, have your Clone stand over the Pressure Plate and teleport back to your body.
Install the Fan in the empty slot on the ground and use it to fly high enough to reach the Progress Wheel.
Connect the second RGB Converter to the Blue Receiver, Red Generator, and first RGB Converter.
Connect the third RGB Converter to the Blue Generator, Red Receiver, and the first RGB Converter.
Replace the Inverter with the third RGB Converter. (Link it from the Blue Generator to the Red Receiver.)
Take the third RGB Converter to the other room and connect to the following devices: Blue Generator, Inverter, and the second RGB Converter.
Take the first RGB Converter and place it over one of the Pressure Plates. Finally, grab the third RGB Converter and position it on the other Pressure Plate to solve the puzzle and conclude the third chapter of The Talos Principle 2's DLC.
