You'll want to be sure you're stocked up on Dosh/money in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. The most common way to farm money is to defeat enemies and complete quests. However, you'll be picking up a lot of loot, so you'll want to sell unwanted items, too. Between weapons and decor, you may not be sure of what's safe to get rid of and what you should hold onto for crafting recipes. Here are some items you should definitely sell in Fantasy Life i.

The most common items you'll be collecting from enemies and, occasionally, your Gathering Lives, are weapons. As you rank up your Crafting Lives, you'll be able to create much better tools than what you had at the beginning of your playthrough. Naturally, equipment will accumulate over time, and you'll want to consider selling them to make room for the better ones.

Consider selling equipment with the following:

  • A low "Skill Level". This is the number under the tool's name and picture. Lower-skilled tools won't be useful for late-game crafting recipes.
  • A tool without any skills (ex: SP+).
  • A tool with no rank (ex: Ordinary).

Once you start collecting and reverting Strangelings, you can equip your allies with equipment. While you should always prioritize your own gear, it's not a bad idea to give them some good weapons/tools, too.

Tropical Table

An Early Crafting Recipe

Recipe Level:

Carpenter Recipe LV 1

Recommended Skill Level:

135

Materials:

  • x3 Palm Lumber
  • x1 Dandelion Cotton
  • x1 Palm Nuts

The Tropical Table is one of the first Carpenter Life crafting recipes that you'll receive upon reaching Fledgling rank. The selling price of a Tropical Table is 660 Dosh, but for a starting item to sell, it can be useful.

The materials required for the Tropical Table can all be found around Eternia Village. You can cut down the Palm Trees on the beach and collect Dandelion Puffs from the fields. You'll need to use the Carpenter and Tailor Life to get lumber and cotton respectively. Palm Nuts are occasional drops from Palm Trees. You can also purchase the required materials from the General Store in Eternia Village.

Tropical Bed

Kick Back in the Tropics

Recipe Level:

Carpenter Recipe LV 2

Recommended Skill Level:

180

Materials:

The Tropical Bed is a higher-leveled crafting recipe than the Tropical Table, but it's worth making. One Tropical Bed sells for 1150 Dosh, and the materials to make it are as easy to come by as the Tropical Table's. The downside is, you'll need to have a higher Skill Level to successfully craft a Tropical Bed, so you may have to get a better tool and raise your level before you start making them.

You can buy your materials (Eternia Village or the Capital) or gather them in the overworld. If you're trying to get Woven Straw Fabric, you're going to need to collect Straw Thread. Woven Straw Fabric is a level 2 Tailoring recipe that requires x2 Straw Thread.

Science Equipment

Decor for an Alchemist

fantasy life i the girl who steals time science experiment decor

Recipe Level:

Alchemist Recipe LV 2

Recommended Skill Level:

160

Materials:

  • x1 Suspicious Object
  • x1 Science Flask

The Science Experiment is a decor item that can be placed on your Base Camp in the present. It's an Alchemist recipe, but you won't get it simply from leveling up. You'll need to buy the recipe from the Tools Shop in the Mysteria Capital. Even if the recipe is expensive, it's worth the Dosh and is arguably the best way to farm Dosh in the early phase of your playthrough.

One Science Experiment sells for 3400 Dosh. You'll need a Suspicious Object, which you can buy for 50 Dosh at the Material Shop in the Capital. You'll also need a Science Flask, which is a tool that can be made with the Alchemist Life. You can either make it with its required materials, or buy one from the Tool Shop (Capital) for 900 Dosh.

Pile of Pirate Treasure

How to Craft Pirate Treasure

Recipe Level:

Artist Recipe LV 4

Recommended Skill Level:

335

Materials:

  • x1 Sack of Treasure
  • x1 Sack of Gold
  • x1 Sack of Silver

Sack of Copper, Silver, Gold, and Treasure are all material items that you sometimes drop from defeating enemies. You can also get them by completing certain quests, such as the quests given to you by your buddies at Base Camp.

However, you might want to refrain from selling the Sacks of Silver/Gold/Treasure. If you craft them into a Pile of Pirate Treasure, you can sell them for more than you'd get by selling them as materials. You can get the crafting recipe for the Pile of Pirate Treasure from a merchant on the Tropica Isles. Pile of Pirate Treasure is an Artist recipe.

Aim for a Perfect when craftin the Pile of Pirate Treasure to ensure maximum price when you go to sell it.

White Woolie Sticker

999 Stickers

How To get Applique and Stickers In Fantasy Life i

Recipe Level:

Artist Recipe LV 2

Recommended Skill Level:

250

Materials:

  • x1 Red Paint
  • x1 Desert Log
  • x1 Sheep Fleece

Arguably the best way to earn Dosh is by selling White Woolie Stickers. It's likely this method may be revamped in an update, so you'll want to take advantage of it if/when that happens. The White Woolie Sticker is a crafting recipe that you can get from Marco's Shop after raising the shop rank to 2-stars.

To make x1 White Woolie Sticker, you'll need x1 Red Paint, x1 Desert Log, and x1 Sheep Fleece. Both the Desert Log and Sheep Fleece can be purchased for a cheap price from Marco himself. The Red Paint can be bought from the Materials Shop on the Tropical Isles, but you can also use the Artist Life to craft it.

You'll want to buy the max number of materials and then use the Artist Life to craft the White Woolie Sticker. When crafting, make sure your Skill Level exceeds the Recommended Level (250), and try to score a Perfect. You should get nearly 240 White Woolie Stickers from just one (perfect) minigame.

Once you exceed the item limit (999), the stickers will be sold automatically. You can potentially make 100k+ simply from using a crafting bench.

You can sell 999 types of other stickers, such as Spider Stickers, but the materials for the White Woolie stickers are cheaper and easier to come by.
