The London level in THPS 3+4 is the second-to-last level of the normal THPS 4 Skate Tour, if we don't include the Pinball secret level. This standard park has been ported from the campaign of the original game to a more arcadey, timed, goals-based structure, and the new goals reference the original missions – including the appearance of Constable Richard, the British Officer Dick.
How To Get The Secret Tape In College In THPS 3+4
To get the College Secret Tape, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 players must follow a specific route that leads across several rooftops.
This guide explains how to complete every normal goal in the London level, how to complete every Pro Goal in London (which unlocks when all standard goals across both THPS 3 and 4 Skate Tours are complete), and how to get every collectible in the London level in THPS 3+4.
All London Goals
High Score, Pro Score, Sick Score, High Combo
- High Score: 125,000
- Pro Score: 200,000
- Sick Score: 400,000
- High Combo: 40,000
London has a few good lines that most players will find easy to follow, but the level's gloomy, rainy environment can make it hard to suss out what you can and can't grind. However, you can grind all of the sidewalk ledges in this level, which essentially lets skilled players continue a combo as long as they swap rails.
To get these basic goals easily, try to follow this line:
- From the start of the level, manual down the short ramp to gain some speed, perform a flip trick, then grind the edge of the fountain to gain some more speed
- Jump off the fountain into another manual, then go into the striped half pipe ahead and perform a grab trick to build your SPECIAL meter
- Continue the combo by grinding the sidewalk to your right. Hop across rails and sidewalks, performing manuals in empty spaces in between, to reach two half pipes on the bridge
- Perform a spine transfer off the right-hand half pipe to reach a lot below the Southbank building with lot of half pipes and grindable terrain
Collect S-K-A-T-E
In the London level, S-K-A-T-E begins on the lip of a building to the left of the starting fountains. Skate in between the fountains then veer slightly left across the road and use the half-pipe to reach a rail above.
- Grind this rail to get the S letter, then follow it to reach the Southbank building rooftop
- Perform a Spine Transfer just below the K ahead to reach a lower rooftop, then skate to the right side to find the A on a wall
- Turn around after you collect the A and skate forward until you see a wire that connects to a nearby building. Grind this wire and jump immediately after you start to grind on the building lip to get the T.
- Continue grinding this rail until you reach an area above the spawn point with two half pipes. Quickly come to a stop and turn around, then jump off the ledge to grab the E.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4: Trophy Guide
For players who want to prove that they are an expert skateboarder, they are going to want to get every trophy for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4.
Benihana over the Fountains
To complete this THPS 3+4 challenge and Benihana over the fountains, skate forward from the spawn point and gain speed by grinding the edge of the fountain, then use the half pipe just ahead to turn around and gain more speed. Ollie off of the lip of the fountain to gain a lot of height, then perform a Benihana grab (↙+X/O) and land on the other side.
As long as you have enough speed to make it across and get the "Ye Olde Fountain" gap while performing a Benihana, you will complete this goal.
Grab 4 Copper Hats
There are three police officers around the spawn point. Skate forward to find the first, around to the right along the road to find the second, and just next to the spawn point to find the third. To grab a hat, you must perform any trick while jumping through the police officer.
Once you collect all three, Officer Dick will appear at the top of a half pipe nearby. Skate up to this ramp and perform a trick to attempt to grab his hat. He will teleport away to the top of a pillar above the fountains. Use the half pipes around this pillar to perform a trick above him and attempt to take his hat again.
Once again, he will teleport away, this time to the top of a nearby building. To get here, take the ramp in the grassy area on either side of the building and transfer onto the ramp behind Officer Dick. For the last time, perform a trick, and you will take Officer Dick's hat and complete this goal.
Wallride 2 Buses in One Combo
There are two double-decker buses that drive through this level. Wait for about ten seconds for the second bus to enter the level from the bridge, then follow it until it reaches the intersection. Perform a Wallride off of the bus, then manual forward toward the center of the level.
How To Save Painter Neal In Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4
Referencing a mission in the original THPS 4, to Save Painter Neal, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 players must grind and wallplant off an object nearby.
By this point, the first bus should be coming around the corner ahead. Manual up to the side of the bus then perform another Wallride. If you successfully land the combo, you will complete this goal.
Free Stompy the Elephant
To Free Stompy, THPS 3+4 players must first skate to the far side of the level from the spawn point to a van surrounded by protestors. After the cutscene plays, you must find the van in the level and Skitch it for long enough to unlock both doors. The first door takes about 5 seconds of Skitching to open, while the second takes about 10 seconds.
Get the Secret Tape
The Secret Tape in the London level can be found on top of the buildings to the right of the central square from spawn. Skate forward from the start point onto the obelisk half pipe and use it to gain height and grind the wire to the right. This wire leads to the top of a building. Jump off at the end, then Spine Transfer off of the back of the building to get onto a higher level. The Secret Tape can be found above one of the half pipes on this highest rooftop.
All London Pro Goals
Platinum Score: 800,000
The Platinum score for London is double the Sick Score in the normal goals. This is a lot of points to rack up, and London doesn't have many obvious lines (unlike the Alcatraz level, which has a great route for combos right at the start).
Grind curbs to continue your combos across the level and build speed, avoid grinding the same rail more than twice in the same combo to preserve your balance bar, and take advantage of as many gaps as you can to build up a Platinum Score. Keep an eye out for buses, too – if one runs into you in the middle of a combo, you'll bail.
Collect C-O-M-B-O
Essentially, the C-O-M-B-O letters are the Pro version of the S-K-A-T-E letters, but you must collect all of them in the same combo to complete this Pro Goal. The C begins on the ledge to the right of the fountains, which wraps around the back of spawn to the O letter.
Remember that you must revert after a Spine Transfer to continue a combo, and think about retooling your character's stats so their Manual and Rail Balance stats are maxed out.
Grind the Full Southbank Lights gap
In the Southbank area, which is below the bridge on the left side of the fountains, you will see a row of lights connecting lightpoles that border the entire area. You must grind this entire rail, and jump across the gap in the middle, to complete this goal. Take the ramp at the end of the street to reach the M letter on the ledge of the building, then continue to grind this ledge until you reach the B and the O.
Best Stats to Level First in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4
Every stat in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 provides specific boosts to your skating abilities, but some stats are better than others.
Impress the Pro Skaters
Throughout the level you will find seven Pro Skaters – NPCs standing in various locations who are always holding a skateboard. You must perform a high-value combo or trick (worth at least 8,000 points) near each Pro Skater to impress them.
Collect the Stompy Plushies
There are five Stompy Plushies in the London level in THPS 3+4. To find all of these in one run, follow this line to find each location:
- Skate forward toward the half pipe on the bottom of the obelisk, then turn around and jump off of the starting ramp above the bus station to get the first Stompy Plushy
- Turn right, the grind the edge of the building as it turns left toward the bridge
- Use the half pipe on the right side of the bridge to find the third Stompy Plushy location
- Skate toward the start point for the Save Stompy the Elephant goal (straight forward from spawn as the crow flies) to find the fourth Plushy above a half pipe at the end of the roundabout
- Turn around and go to the left side of the level (facing the spawn point) and gain some speed from the benches. Use your speed to get some height off of a half pipe at the bottom of the Canadian Embassy to get the final Stompy Plushy. You need to have high Speed and Air stats to make it high enough to reach this.
All London Collectibles
All London Stat Point Locations
- The first Stat Point can be found on a balcony after a series of half pipes to the top-right of the fountains. Turn slightly right after the fountains at the spawn point, then skate onto a half pipe here to grind the building. At the end of the lip, jump onto the balcony of the building opposite to grab this Stat Point.
- The second Stat Point in London can be found on the far right side of the Southbank area. Use a half pipe to gain height near the start of the light strings, then grind the lip of the building and jump off to reach this Stat Point.
- The final Stat Point can be found inside of a shop on the left side of the Southbank area below the bridge. Smash through the glass to get to this Stat Point behind the counter.
All London Cash Drop Locations
- The first Cash location in London can be found on top of a light pole near the Canadian Embassy. To get here, skate onto the striped half pipe at the far end of the level, then grind the lip of the building as you slightly veer right. Follow this rail as it connects to a set of strings that connect the lightpoles together, which leads to the Cash Drop.
- Look inside the breakable glass area within the parking lot below the bridge to find the second Cash location in London.
- Get onto the top of the Southbank buildings (on the right side of the subarea) and Spine Transfer to get onto another rooftop that contains the third Cash location.
- One can be found above a fountain on the left side of the Southbank area below the bridge. Ollie right as you hit the lip of the light fixture on the ground to gain enough air to reach this.
- The last Cash Drop location is on the edge of the building that overlooks the Southbank fountain. To get here, build up some speed and use the ramp to the right of the government building at spawn to get high enough to grind the building lip. Follow this rail across a wire to reach the other building, then continue to grind to reach the secret rooftop and this hidden Cash location.
How To Change Trick Mapping in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4
To set custom trick inputs and equip Special Tricks, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 players must navigate to the skater customization menu.
London Iron Galaxy Logo
From the start point, turn around and go left. Use the half pipe next to the building to gain some speed, then launch off of the ramp below the column on the corner of the square to reach the grindable wire above the fountains. Grind this wire, then jump off and to the right after you pass the obelisk to reach the Iron Galaxy logo in London.
London Hidden Board Location
To get the Hidden Deck in London, go into the parking lot near the Southbank subarea below the bridge, and break through the glass. You can also find a Cash Drop here. Once inside, come to a stop, turn around, and skate into the open elevator. You will teleport above the level and pick up the London Hidden Deck as you fall.
