There are a lot of bosses that players can take on in Throne and Liberty, following in the footsteps of other great MMORPGs in the industry. These can be found all across the game's map, in one of the numerous dungeons that people can fight through, or even just be taken on, 1v1, through things like Taedal's Tower and the Gate of Infinity. However, no matter how players choose to face these fearsome foes, it is not going to be an easy victory. One fight that is proving to be pretty tough is the Exploding Flame Desert Wizard.
Throne And Liberty: How To Get Belt Of Bloodlust
The Belt of Bloodlust is an excellent piece of gear in Throne and Liberty, but it can be challenging to acquire. Here are all the ways to get it.
This fire-wielding mage can be found on the 18th Floor of Taedal's Tower, so players will have to progress through quite a bit of that gauntlet before being able to take the boss on. But, it can pop up as part of the Gate of Infinity as well, which will allow people to take it on without having to climb up the tower. What makes this boss tough, as is the case with the rest of the bosses in the tower, is that while the fight won't have a time limit, the boss will become enraged after five minutes. This makes beating the boss quickly even more important, but it can be a tough task. Here are some tips to make the fight easier.
How To Beat Exploding Flame Desert Wizard In Throne And Liberty
During the fight, there are a few attacks that players will have to be on the lookout for and know how to avoid.
The first attack is not much of an attack at all and will take effect from the beginning of the fight. It is a small fire tornado that will move around the battlefield. If this tornado hits the player, it won't do a ton of damage, but since it's easy to lose sight of and therefore easy to be hit by, that damage can add up. Players just need to be aware of its position and movement at all times.
This is also because it can be helpful for the next attack that sees her warping to the center of the arena to conjure a massive fireball. She then slams it on the ground to cover the floor in fire. At this point, a safe spot will appear somewhere on the battlefield that players can climb onto to avoid taking the massive damage from the fire.
Sometimes, the safety spot is across the arena, which is when a player should use the fire tornado to boost their jump so they can glide over to it.
Other than these two attacks, the wizard will regularly shoot small fireballs at the player that can be easy to avoid and will often come with the chance to defend against them. Hitting the perfect defense on these can give a small window to do some damage to the wizard.
Additionally, she will shoot out a cone of fire in the direction of the player, which can be avoided by running around her in a circle.
Those are the attacks that players need to look out for, and now they can focus on the weapons and strategy for the fight.
Best Weapons & Strategy Against Exploding Flame Desert Wizard
The Exploding Flame Desert Wizard is a ranged-based enemy, so melee weapons are going to be the best way to take her down. She won't be able to match the up-close intensity of these weapons and will be more open to massive hits.
Further, bringing the Greatsword, specifically, will allow players to use the Precision Dash Skill, which lets players zip across the ground quickly in order to close a gap in a matter of moments. Players can easily get close to the wizard, hit her with some powerful attacks, and then zip back out to avoid any counterattacks she has.
It should be a slow process, with the player taking the pauses between spells to get in and hit her with everything they have before moving away to avoid whatever she does next. With some patience and time, the Exploding Flame Desert Wizard will go down.
